Good morning Evelyn. If there is strong demand and inventory is extremely low, yes I would.

Sure, if I had the time. I've built two homes in the past 14 years.

That doesn't seem possible. Good luck.

I personally would not. It's really challenging here because of limited acreage for sale and the high costs of land. You really have to have patience, and do your due diligence. But for the right situation and person, it could be worth it

Yes, I believe new construction is very attainable for many more now then in the past.

Evelyn - I believe most people would prefer a brand new home if given the choice, and all other things being equal.

I would probably just stick with what i had if the home I was looking for was not available at a good price.

Evelyn,
Here, new home construction is always more per square foot than buying resale. And new is out on the edge of town.

Buyers in my market will consider new first if it is in their price range. I would too.

One of the most satisfying experiences is either building new or buying new

Land is the culprit here. You can build new, but the land in the areas that people want to live is very expensive, so the home is once completed.
For the cheaper land, you have to have too much of it (acreage), and too far out of Louisville in many clients eyes.

Personally, NO. Professionally I would definitely give my buyers the option. It is their decision

Even our new construction is down with how long it takes for approvals to build

Good morning Evelyn Johnston . The trouble with newer homes is that they are thrown up like a cat throws up a furball. They are almost the same consistency.
