I have sent thousands of hand written thank you notes over the years. They are much appreciated.

I do send them and keep a stack on my desk to remind me. I do a couple a week but should do more. They are always appreciated and get noticed.

It is a really good idea and also to send a hand written not to people you have sold a property to a couple of years prior. It keeps your name in their head.

Yes, always hand written notes. I try to send out a few a week to various people who were a part of my week. I do this personally as well. Always appreciated.

Hi Jeff,
Yes, I try to send a customized note to every customer when thier inspection report is delivered. It is much easier to use the pre-written messages that are automatically sent but, I still like to think that customers appriciate the personal touch. I know I do. I have also begun sending out a follow up note about two weeks later. I will admit though that I have not been as consistant as I would like to be. Thanks for posting this question!

Good morning Jeff. I used to do handwritten notes, but stopped. Now I call, after each completed transaction, past clients and referral partners. About 45 minutes per day, results are pretty amazing.

I'm guilty, I sent them rarely, less than I would want to. I have to get back on that wagon.

I do! I send them when I have met a new prospect, when I have had a meeting with them and to thank people for referrals. Don't keep track of how many I send.

I send them but not often enough..maybe 1 a week. I know they are always appreciated! Might need to concentrate on writing more!

Nothing beats handwritten notes. Two just arrived in mail from grandkids who received Christmas gifts from us

I send them to clients, other agents, and my wife and I go over daily who we are grateful for. Today is was a title company that pitched in and solved a problem that another one would'nt bother with even though they caused the problem.

Yes, we do. We don't have a frequency quotient, we just do it when the spirit moves on. It does often, we have great people in our lives. A

I don't send enough. I believe you should send as many as you meet people or if they do something for you. And I sometimes include a card, not always. I don't want to seem like I'm shoving myself in front of them.

I have sent many, and usually when they have a friend or co-worker that just contacted me. It varies on the timing, as they come in. Also for graduation, weddings, babies, etc.

No, I'd like them to be read and my handwriting is atrocious and gets worse the more I write. Handwritten notes are old school just like riding in the same car as clients.

Big believer in hand written thank you notes! Even with my terrible handwriting!

Occasionally.
I have sent them to clients(past, present, prospective), other agents, service providers, friends, relatives....
I don't have a consistent plan.

Yes, but I am old school that way. I thank my friends via a note when they have me for dinner (something planned in advance), and always to any party that I am a guest with others.
In business, I often send thank you notes, but no formula. Its just what I do.

I've been sending thank you notes when people gave me a nice review and other occasions of course.

No, not a fan of hand writing things. Wrote two checks today and that almost did me in! Or maybe it was the size of the checks...

There is absolutely nothing more powerful as a marketing tool as the hand-written note. The downside for me is that my handwriting absolutely sucks...

I typically send them after a week or two after a transaction. I am going to start doing this more with my past clients, though, this year.

I think handwritten notes have more impact now than ever, since it is kind of a lost art in this digital age. I love sending handwritten notes and I love receiving them. I don't have a quota but send a note whenever I can find a reason.

I typically thank people by phone or in person. I like to send handwritten notes to my farm area.

I have had maybe 5 cards after a closing - I send them religiously to all involved including the other agent. And in some exception cases I have also send a card or called the other agent's broker!
