My system is backed up weekly; my data is backed up daily. And a lot of the "paperless" stuff is on my company's system and can easily be retrieved from there as well and/or from my Evernote account.

I am also planning to add local 2TB automated backup using software called 'Genie9'.

Every Saturday.

Backup Outlook first, which takes a while, then backup hard drive, and then run a virus scan.

FYI: I only started doing this after I lost a hard drive and a BUNCH of data. Dont learn the hard way.

Bob, I have my setting schedule to back up automatically on a weekly basis.

Monday is backup to my external here in my office. I also have a cloud back up through Apple, and another cloud as well. I also use Dropbox for Evernote, so I am pretty much covered every which way.

All its takes is once to lose data, and you learn quick!

I back mine up in the cloud.  

Every few days - I have an external hard drive. I tried online (e., Carbonite) but lost a bunch of files when I tried to re-install them. I also put client files on a separate CD and our office has all files in the cloud

weekly and onto an external hard drive.  I have two and I swap them out and have one at home and one at the office at all times.

    I just bought a Seagate 3TB "Back Up Plus" to back up my drive.

   DVD discs are too small. 

     I don't trust putting my important personal documents and information on "the cloud", aka some server owned by some 3rd party.

Few do  but I now back mine up to the cloud.

I have an external hard drive and I back up a couple times a week or after an especially important document.  I don't trust the cloud just yet.  What happen is the net goes down when you need it most

The nice thing about most of the really important docs is that they are somewhere in my sent box where I can find them should something crash.

I also do a full back up to an external hd occasionally, and have tons of stuff in several cloud drives.

I try to remember to do this at least twice a month.

I back up at the server level - that is done by my hosting company daily and I backup my laptop with an external hard drive. Most always nightly.  I've been completely paperless since Jan 2012.

Not often enough. I am still having trouble remembering to save my posts every so often in order not to loose my blogs before I publish them.

I use Carbonite now for about the last year. One price, it's automatic. Sometimes it schedules itself & things get a little slow but then you can shut it down. $59 a year.

Real time automatic backup to the cloud; manual to external drive usually weekly and upon any event or new file; I also keep hard copies of transaction files.

Not often enough, once every month if i had to say, some months i do it weekly and others like January i havent yet, but will today as i am thinking about it

I have never backed mine up.  It scares me to pieces, but I just don't know how.
