That's one of the tweaks I think AR coders could easily make... either add a like button or some other way to be notified. I like a way to acknowledge I have read a comment on a comment.   Maybe Bob Stewart could put this on the member Wish List.   

IMHO, they should be treated in exactly the same manner as regular comments.

If one tags when answering, it works okay. If not, it is as you say..more work

I would not be upset if they were eliminated.

Roger, I never really switched over to the "new" system, so rarely use the subcomments. 

I say keep them but tweak them so we get notified.

I think they can add to the conversation but annoying we aren't notified. And going back to check on a regular basis is not always easy.

I did not realize this was happening; it does make it easier to keep track of whom has commented though.

I love the threads. I do wish they would notify us. And let us 'like' them. Some are great.

Roger - They certainly are hard to track. I wish we would receive notification of them, and then they would be fine.

Good morning Roger. Seldom use the function, but if I'm asked a question, will use it. Wish I would notified if it is used after I comment.

I would prefer that there was a notification as I don't have the time to go back and check to see if anything showed up on all post.

It seems easier to leave a comment directed to that post, but like you said, you don't get notified of them...

Totally useless right now, I couldn't agree mor. We have one guy fixing this this week. Those notifications should start to work soon.

I like them.  Yes, it would be good to be notified.

Well, had not thought of that. I always figured the person would be contacted. I like to answer right below the comment, rather than doing a whole string of separate comments and have to keep going back to for the next one, etc. etc.

I think they would be great if we could tag in them, but without that feature they are useless to me.

And we cannot directly comment on their either.  I like the potential for engagement and interaction with the sub comments ... it would be better if we could comment on them ... etc.

I agree, unless you are tagged in, you have no idea about sub comment. 

I always tag the other party so they will get notified that I have commented.

I tend to agree w/ you.  Would you feel different if they actually fixed the notification issues?  It seems to work well here in the Q&A section where people are notified.

And, I have no idea why they can make it work in one area but not the other.
