A career in real estate is all about freedom. There are two ways to start a real estate career. The first is to get hired through an agency, and the second is to have your own business. Becoming a become a realtor in NJ area is a commitment to success which will be greatly depend on your success, especially when you initially are becoming a Realtor.

In early 1995 I met my husband who had just started a real estate company. I was self-employed at the time running a Business Support company. While we dated I learned alot about real estate and as instrumental in the marketing and administrative end of the business. Once we got married he talked me into becoming a Realtor. And now I'm glad he did. I Love being a REALTOR.

Was a loan officer at a Savings & Loan. A broker I did business with said I could make more money and have more time to myself. I was attending law school at night and thought it was a good idea!

The builder I was working for as a payroll manager thought I would be a very good agent. He paid for my night classes etc. I sold his properties for 5 years. It worked out great.

To work 24/7 of course...and to drive expensive cars. None of which has materialized.
