Peter Mohylsky , to me, a blog is a post that contains useful content to either the consumers or somebody in the housing industry.

A question is just that, picking the brains of our fellow rainers when faced with a question or a quandry.  

Questions are normally quite short. Blog posts are longer and much more detailed.

A question is a relatively short question asking something, A blog is a fully developed post that may have a question within it, but also addresses issues around the question to generate interest.

I hope that blogs will have more serious content than may of the questions we see in this points driven section.

A blog is a narrative that contains useful and/or interesting information.... a question is self explanatory, isn't it????????

A blog you want to get out to the public to see, and most of the questions are not public.

The amount of words and research for a blog post is awesome. My questions all come off the cuff...

A blog is a statement a question is, well a question.

Question provides a more low key interaction between members. Blog moves too quickly on AR, however, it is written mainly to inform the public...and it requires an English degree.

A blog is me getting on my pulpit and preaching the gospel of real estate (or a restaurant review, market report, recipe, funny story, etc.).

A question is me saying "I don't know something, please assist me in increasing my knowledge."

A blog is giving information, and a question is asking for information.  Though I think I asked a question in a blog once because I had a lot of backround to the question.

A good blog could start with a question.

i.e. "Do you know the 21 reasons AR members get headaches?"

I would think the difference is where you find it and the terminating punctuation.

A question asks something without giving the answer, contains no self promtion and is not trying to sell a service or product. A blog can ask a question but contain the answer along with a push for a consumer to hire you.

Actually, answering questions from your clients is the most popular of your posts if you'd care to track it. 

A blog post hopes to provides information, and question hopes to gather information.

In general, a question is where you are asking for advice, answers or opinions.   A blog post is where you are sharing info.
