I paid for Zillow zipcode leads for six months. They were crap. The buyers there seem to have their own agents that can't show them property. Not a great way to pick up sellers in my market either. I canceled they day my six months was up.

I haven't given Zillow a penny. You're better off learning how to prospect.

I will NOT pay for hits. Because how many times do you view pages, each time that is a hit on someones account and no real customer is generated. The leads are usually not ready, willing or able to buy, most already have agents and others cant get a mortgage. Generate leads with you own blog and they are all yours

I don't pay for zillow leads.
My broker did this for a while and the leads weren't worth anything.

Yes, I am premier agent and they have more than paid off for me and many other agents that I know.
Z is not for everyone or right in every location and most folks here will slam them ... That's fine and I respect that. But I spend my money on what works and quite frankly, I don't give a rats arse what anyone else thinks about it.
You should research your service area on Z and check out the agents you are competing with. If the area is over saturated then you should pass.
You should also consider Realtor.com leads. We just increased our spending with R and are very happy with the results.

I got a call from Z the other day...
They claimed they now have openings in my zipcode. First question to mind is WHY are there openings if you are so good?

Personally I can't stand the way Zillow and Trulia charge for impressions. It's a beauty contest. If you shine in the below three you stand a chance:
1. How good looking are you or your photo?
2. How many houses do you reflect on your profile that you've sold?
3. How many five star reviews do you have?

There are many here on AR who are Zillow Premier agents. Judging by their stats of current listings and of homes sold, I'd say they are very successful. You may not get much of a response, as most of them are usually to busy with selling homes and dealing with their clients to bother with answering questions on AR.
