We have required courses for the 45 hours, and the choices are the same for the electives each time.  We are always on the job of self improvement and learning new things...A

Since I don't need any hours I do about 40 times more than I need.

The minimum gets your license renewed. The extra gets you brain renewed!

William Feela I take the required hours for CE credit and other courses for knowledge whether they have CE credit or not.

I take classes elsewhere - just the minimum CE credits because I think they are minimally beneficial here

Since I teach the classes I am there regardless.  Many agents barely complete the minimum

It depends on how much time I have and what is being offered.

I don't do extra. CE venue is not where I want to get more "education or training." There are better venues for that and many of them are also free, which CE isn't.

Good morning William. I finished in Dec, but only what I needed.

CA offers 12 hours of CE for free annually. I try to take them online. 

Our regulator no longer tracks CE hours due to a recent change in the CE credit requirements.  Under the new rules, an online update course provided by the regulator must be taken.  Anything else does not count towards renewal.

I will do extra ony if the topic is of interest.  No sense in taking a course in selling to mermaids if I don't live in the ocean.

William Feela we have 12 credits every two years and that's what I do, just enough to continue hanging my license at broker's office.

I love education. My local association really comes up with some great classes. I always get more than my required hours. 

pretty much whatever the MLS sets up in the CE class is what I take.

I maintain three licenses, so just doing the requirements is a lot.

In my state they are due every 4 years at the end of your birthday month.  I am always over with lots of extra to spare.

Ours are due by July 1st. I do what is required and also take clases in my interests all year long with or without credits.

I get tons of extra learning, want to be much better than average.

I only do what is required.  There are very few CE classes that I am interested in.  I listen to webinars and read books on topics I am interested in.

I do the hours I need to satisfy the state.  My best education isn't given credit for, and that's what I learn from other agents here.

I'm usually way over because I take whatever education courses are of interest to me whenever they are offered.  

I never count credits until the end and I always run over by about 10 hours. I only take classes I will enjoy or benefit from

I have a couple of years before my next renewal. As Alexandra say, the choices are the same for electives. I may take some extra but there are plenty of other educational options I prefer to take that are not CE qualified

William - I do extra depending on the courses available, and what interests me, or what I think will make me a better agent.

I like to take classes, and usually have way over the hours needed. 

Sometimes I do more when the classes are convenient.

My Broker always had suggestions and at times required more hours

No extra for me. Too boring actually, they do not offer anything I am interested in.

I do extra when a great class comes along.

As an approved instructor I always have more than the minimum.

We need 12 hours every 2 years, in the past you could only take them in the last 6 months of your 2 years which made it hard,finally you can take anytime now, so perhaps in the future, but never in the past

We have 22 1/2 every two years and this time around I will be over that number.

It depends on how busy I am at the time.  If I have some extra time and there is an interesting class I will do extra.  Sometimes the title companies, home warranty companies, etc. offer classes and well, and I will attend those.

I take the required continuing education classes online and will take extra classes often without "credit".   

It depends...sometimes more...sometimes just the online package...

If they offer CEU in on a cruise ship I second....

Here in AZ, we have certain categories of classes, but you can pick and choose what classes you want to take within the categories.  I take alot of on-line classes, so right now, those are the only 'extra' ones I'm taking William Feela.
