Depends on the content entirely.  If it's good content that interests me, bring on the series!  I've done a few series, and have gotten great feedback.  I do make sure I link each page to the others in the series to make it easy on readers, I think that's important.

I prefer all in one, unless each blog is long.  If the topic is of interest, I'll find a way to remember to look for the posts.  Otherwise, I won't bother.

I would say break it up but now with the 1000 word total thing maybe not ??

I've done a staging series but named each one differently then thru in the 1 of 3. If fact, you don't even have to do that just link in the post for the next in series.

Depends on the topic and how interested I am.  Based on what you said in the explanation after your question I would say write each post with its own title.  Later go back & add subtitles #1, #2, #3 of Series .... Include links to all eight posts so the reader can find all or just the ones they are really interested in reading.

Just my thoughts Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041

I like your idea of a series with each blog able to stand on its own.  They can always link back to previous blogs but reading blog 5 of 8 seems pointless unless you want to spend lots of time reading 1 thru 4.

I would probably take a look if the title interested me -- just like starting a book to see if it is any good.

But if the post says that it is #3 or 4 and I have not seen the others, I will skip it because I have no desire to start looking for the earlier posts.

It depends on the subject of the series.  If they are teasers, leading to the next one without offering actual useful info until the end, that would annoy me.  If each one offers useful information, I'm fine with that... and would look forward to the next.    I would advise the author to include the schedule for publication, so the reader knows if they will be posted once a day, week or whatever.

What I hate are those marketing ploys that offer you some great problem solving information, but you have to watch a 20 minute video just to find out you have to buy something to get the miracle cure to solve the problem.

It should be in a series in many case. I would read further, depending on the topc and my interest. I would say that just because you do not read them all that makes the one(s) you read invalid - not sure what you mean by that?!

Depends upon the topic of the post, the author, the length of the post.

I know that on many non-real estate websites, this type of thing is done to increase the number of ads that are displayed.  This helps to increase the sites advertising revenue.

Asking a person to read a series of 8 blogs, seems a bit much for me. I'm not much of a book reader (only completely read a couple books in high school). I'm more of a Cliff Notes guy. (Do they still have those or am I dating myself?)
