No real issues, the only noticeable difference is rushing to get the seller credits in by deadline, ahead of our typical 17 day contingency period. Otherwise, it's business as usual.

The ONLY issues I've had with TRID are incompetent Escrow Officers that unilaterally change the numbers on their estimated settlement statement and DO NOT match them to the CD.  Insanity!!!!!!

So far so good! I like the time lines that are imposed it certainly has helped the process.

NAR was able to influence the CFPB to delay this until late last year so I believe the extra time and the relief from penalties helped smooth the path. What I like about TRID is imposing timelines esepcially for buyers getting their information in on a timely basis and REALTORS® not waiting until the last minute.

I had a huge pain when TX lien holders requested disclosures a day before closing on a.....hard money deal! That was such a nonsenseless request... made just in case.

It is a bag of stupidity and has only served to further empower the power-hungry underwriters and their outrageous demands for unnecessary documentation.

Things have been good for the most part.  My big issue is where before title/escrow could do very little to screw things up late in the process, now they can throw a huge wrench into the process last-minute.

I just had an attorney's office screw up transfer taxes, approve our CD, THEN (the day before settlement, after the CD that they approved was sent to the borrower) inform us they screwed up and we needed to add nearly $2000 to borrower's costs.

I predicted TRID would really bring to light the level of laziness & incompetence that's rampant in the industry, and in my experience, it has.  It's also shown who the true professionals are.

My only experience with TRID is seeing it discussed by people involved in the US real estate market.  TRID does not apply in Canada.

No problems bu they had a 'drama video' on Law Day in IL just the other day. Discussions on the problems but I just felt it wasn't worth listening too.

The only problems I have is getting the CD from the lender sometimes.  Some willingly send it, others don't/
