I have some carrots and celery Sam and then for the main course will include some kale lined with tofu.

Way too much and not just for that day.

My snacks are usually: some kinds of fruits, nuts, or veggies sticks. I avoid junk.

No doubt the stores made a boatload of money because of the Superbowl thie Sunday. I'm traveling so no impact here...but lots of parties at the hotel

That is amazing!  Never saw a snack aisle empty.  Kudos to that, so you have healthy food left in the store from which to choose!  It is sad how people do not read labels and see what some of these ingredients are composed of...ick!

No idea. The majority will be too drunk to worry about the stats.  Drove by the stadium this afternoon. It was already a zoo. 

I just found out today that Silicon Valley residents don't go grocery shopping? I was told that hip residents order their food on an app? These tech kids are too spoiled for my taste. 

Hi Sam especially when I lived in Minnesota the Super Bowl spread was highly caloric. 

Way. Too. Many. would be my guess.  The grocery stores we setting up a week ago. Even Whole Foods has the entire front section set up with chips, salsa, limes, avocados, etc ... all traditional game food.

Not much, Super Bowl is special to the Amateurs, us professional football fans see it as another game, but for the championship.

Just another excuse for a party and yes, with lots of fatty food.

Billions will be spent.  Nothing we are going to buy.

All snacks are not the same nor bad.  I snack on almonds, banannas, love granny smith apples.   I try to stay away from the chip and soda isle all together.  Super Bowl Sunday is here, snacks beware!

Probably the 'only house' on the block who is not buying snackies Sam Shueh!!  Will be getting some fresh cold shrimp and cocktail sauce, and another vege tray with dip.  Always have peanuts and raisins in the pantry though!  Millions are spent on Super Bowl snackies, I can only guess!

The snack food industry must be very happy this weekend.

Americans eat too much junk food, but on Superbowl Sunday they wat more.

I was at the supermarket early this morning. The store just received a replenishment of snack food which were being wheeled out on pallets. 

When they introduced snacking foods that tasted,  looked, smelled and felt good..........that is when humans started having health problems

Sam Shueh I heard the Super Bowl was second to Thanksgiving Day for pigging out. I'm sure it will be a lot of money.

Too much - but not us!

I typically avoid the snack food aisle...well, mostly.  

With a snow storm yesterday and the super snacking, our store shelves were bare last night

Was at a normally well stocked Publix yesterday and snacks and soft drinks were already scarce! Big bucks spent on super bowl goodies!

I am glad i already have snacks at home.

In my house $0... don't eat those kinds of snacks. But how much others will spend is not something I can even begin to guess at.

Good morning Sam. Hardly any junk food, we work hard to have good food for friends and family.

 Good morning Sam Shueh . What can I say? Super Bowl Sunday comes but once a year and people pig out.

I participate in a NFL football pool and the winner of the pool gets a cash prize, but he also has to host the superbowl party at his expense.  Fortunately for me, my last place finishing in the pool saves me from having to buy anything. 

Never bought any snacks, already had chips for the guacamole! 

I will not be buying any, but my wife may be making some healthy snacks.

All the big box stores parking lots were full this late afternoon
