 AVG. I also use ad block and other plug-ins for Firefox.

Fred Griffin I do have AdBlock extension, malwarebytes and spybot. McAfee came installed and keeps on bothering me to renew.

Also have license for Webroot and Kasperesky.

I have anti virus, spyware and malware. I love AVG. 

I use AVG with a monthly cleaning by CC Cleaner and Malware Bytes

I have several things set up on my laptop. It's all pretty much set it and forget it.  I did not set it so I could not name them off the cuff right now.

I use WebRoot Secure Anywhere for anti-virus and overall protection.

I don't publicize what measures I may use as it would defeat the purpose.

I have filtering and blocking on my router.  I run AVG (full paid suite) and MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit (used to run Microsoft's version but it got buggy).  Run NoScript, FlashBlock and AdBlock Plus.  Used to update my .Hosts file too.  Run CCleaner and Defragler.

Was running Security Onion for a while on an old computer.  Loved it.  Looking to build a Raspberry Pi type system to run it again.

I also have two physically separated networks.  One production on a nice new router and a Level 3 switch with port mirroring (for the Sec. Onion install).  I have on an older router a guest network, completely different IP address structure and firewalled off from the production network.

Did I mention I'm retired Info Sec and a nerd?

On my MAC I use an antimalware.

Mostly I use Avast, but also run Super Anti Spyware every 2-3 days. I use to use TrendMicro which was also very good.

Microsoft's default security improved vastly in recent years. I add MalwareBytes, CCleaner, Advanced SystemCare, AdBlock and at least monthly checks with HouseCall.

Fred Griffin You touched on all of my buttons. I use ZoneAlarm, MalwareBytes, SuperAntiSpyware, AdBlock Plus, JRT, CCleaner and Adwcleaner. Can't be too careful. The big thing now is commandeering your PC and holding it hostage for ransom. They put an encryption lock on the PC until you pay up for the key.

Fred, I haven't has any issues since I switched to Apple products.

adblocker and avast paid subscription. The free stuff just doesn't do the job as well.
