Ohhhhh Debbie; you must have missed my question a few days ago.   I've been trying to find somebody, anybody; that can help me find a Google human being for help with a Google Plus problem that's two years old.

They have NO support network at all for it.   If you're not overly invested in time and materials on their platform, I would recommend walking away.   They thought they could challenge FaceBook and it failed miserably.

I don't know but it does not work like it used to for SEO Debbie, I think they failed at killing  Face Book.

    That rumor has been around for a while.  But it may very well come true... they just killed Google Glass, because it never caught on.

     Google Plus is excellent for ranking on page one of Google, but the general public could not care less. They are on Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter.

     I believe that Google will pull the plug on Google Plus by the end of this year.

It works if used correctly and is one of the stops to regularly weed, feed and water. Still is.

I've been hearing this for the last year. I've been in several social media classes where we were told not to waste our time on it. I never got into it anyway.

I'm on it but it is at the back end of importance at this time. If soemthing changes I would reconsider.

I have heard this from other AR members. I haven't been spending a lot of time on G+. Mainly because of what I've heard, and my time is precious to me. I wonder what google will think of to replace it. 

I have not heard of this but it does not surprise me given the way that Google and now Alphabet have been closing projects regularly over the past few years.

I've read this in summary as well.  Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest are the strongest three.  Linkedin too but those people don't really want to see listings and stuff.  The audience seems entrepreneural and business building related.

The ones I post with G+ shows up under Google not the ranking I would expect from analytics.

I have heard that also.  I don't remember where I read it though.

I would be surprised if it went away but then again the only time I use it is after I post to Active Rain I also click the button to post it to G+.

Yes, that seems to be a widespread rumor.  If they're not supporting it, I'd say it is already gone.

Most likely this rumor and it is only a rumor in the Webworld, was probably formented by Google's competition.

I've used Google+ for general posts and have some following there. It isn't a big part of my visibility but I'll be watching the news now to see if what you've heard is indeed the plan.

I have heard rumblings about this for quite some time now...at least a year. It doesn't seem to have taken off like was predicted or expected, although lots of people use it, myself included

The issue with google plus is they change it every few weeks /months.

The platform, what you see, broken links right now I have 2 links on the search engines. One broken goes to error and the second one works.

Who knows....

I hear lots of things.   Unless I have control over the "thing" I don't concern myself with it too much.

I have heard this for a while now, and think it isn't as effective as it once was, but still use it.

Google + is a joke.  

I'm keeping mine and keeping it active until the service goes belly up (like their Orkut one did).  Doesn't cost me anything and it's another outlet that I can publish to automatically.
