I always share information with other agents in my office.

It's always good when people share ideas, but it's not often that I see them implemented. 

In spite of the highly competitive nature of the business, I've always found a willingness to share in abundance... especially seasoned agents helping newbies.

Love sharing ideas with my fellow associates and have learned so much from both the experienced and newbie agents in my office. 

Anything that improves any member of the profession leads to a higher opinion of the profession, which leads to more clients for all!

The mortgage department ( that would be me ) and the banking division do have crossovers from time to time so the Branch Manager and I often consult on things like lot and construction loan as well as customer service and account access issues. 

when you share, it should help them, but more often than not, they don't put that information into action!!!! that's the issue....

It is the only type of culture I want to be in. We can all learn from each other. And you can always put your own spin on ideas you get from your colleagues. And some people will never do what you are doing anyhow

I do share, but not in the office much.  Don't see this as hurting my business at all.

Leanne Carpenter - I think it's a great thing to share nice ideas with other agents at our office  - why not? And why should it hurt anyones sales?

I prefer to keep to myself 

I am willing to share if asked but do not go stick my nose in anyone else's business to tell them what they should be doing. I wouldn't appreciate that either.

It definitely is helpful. If I was in an office where it wasn't helpful, I think I would look for another office.

Depends on you working relationship

Most anything that makes the office look PROFESSIONAL is a good thing

It helps if they coworkers are honest with each other. This is why I like Active Rain.

It is a sign of respect to have someone ask for you help.  Answering only helps us.

I share everything with anybody including in my marketing classes.

Helping is the key to success.

I have extremely limited interaction with the other agents in my office.  I'm physically there for some closings and to pick up mail and not much else.  My owner has a decent handle on what we do to gain our business and that we're tech savvy, and I helped him set up a Wordpress site for agent recruiting.

Sharing is caring.  Would say overall has helped much more.

Leanne Carpenter I think sharing is helpful to other agents. However having said that, what works for me may not work for you.

It's my broker and I, so it helps.  If I were at a big box Re/Max or KW type place, hell no.

I like to think I help others but sometimes people are to lazy and want to copy word for word my stuff.

I want our office to be strong so I do share

sharing is good. The world is unlimited.

Sharing is a great idea.

That means you give a little, get a little.

I can not be a one-way transfer.

I always will impart information; someday we might be working a deal together and it is better now than later.

I always found useful if we share information. 

Sitting here right now discussing ideas with ladies in my office.  It does help. Yes, one has to follow and put words into actions.

Sharing ideas are good for the people that are listening, but doesn't help the person talking. If they exchange ideas and both learn something, then that's good, but otherwise, only one person is benefiting.

For me, it helps me out and at times gives me encouragement and more specific focus Leanne Carpenter.  I do not share ideas with everyone as a group, just on a one-on-one basis with another realtor. 

You provide guidance and many agents walk out with know how but no action.
