I sure know this as except for the four years I was in college, I've had one or more cats in my home since I was six years old.

Now that I did not know

I have 2 and 4 year old cats, and they both sleep all the time. The 4 year old never seems to be awake.

I have a 14 year old one that sleeps at least 20 hours a day.  But she's very loving those other 4 hours.

My 18 year old black cat, Henry, sleeps 23 hours per day.  He gets up to eat and relieve himself, then he returns to his nap.

Maybe I want to come back as a cat next time around.
