I maintain my own social media pages and write my own blog post. And I do try to stay on top of everything I should know about my business.

I have a team and we share updating the marketing efforts.  I don't want to hire someone else . I tried a real estate news letter service but it had no return.

If you cant do it yourself, you should nlt be doing it as it leads to a disconnect. Writing market reports teaches you about your market, letting someone else teaches them but leaves you in the dark. It catches up eventually.

Debbie and I each have our roles but we do know what each other is doing.

I do most of it myself, but I do have some assts who do a bit of it, especially monitoring if we have lead inquiries.

I am all-in-one, but I'm not know-it-all. I'm learning everyday anywhere I can.

    I do my own blogs and social media.  I have tried using assistants, but they don't come across as "me".  I do use assistants to weed through my emails, resize photos, run errands, and do other tasks.

It is me. My business. My voice. No one can articulate my voice. People are connecting with me, my voice. That is who they hire. No ghosts in my business. 

Im involved in everything in my business, but also have help from my awesome assistant. We make a good team !

This is one of those things that i do myself, though I sometimes wonder if it would be wise to delegate some of it.

So far I look at it as recreation, and it is hard to delegate rec time.

I am the one and only, so yes I TRY and do it all.  Social media goes by the wayside when business gets overwhelming.

Christopher, I think that outsourcing social media is a disaster waiting to happen.  Whatever you put out there, you need to control, and having a rent a blog outfit write your posts?  It's totally easy to pick out the fakes. 

I want to know what is going on but I depend on others to execute. There are not enough hours in the day to do it all.

I do the "all of the above" promotion on social media.  I have my web master promote as well as doing in myself.  I do try to learn as much as possible about my industry but there is no end to how much there is to learn.

You have confused two issues.

Knowing all you can and spending too much time on the busy work are not related.

The person acting upon the knowledge they have would most certainly delegate clerical tasks to others.
