Goals should always require a reach!

Sometimes a goal is a change that moves you out of your comfort zone, but helps you in personal and professional growth. This is what I'm doing this year.

If you don't set those stretchy muscle-pulling goals for yourself, events will transpire that compel you to adapt. How well you adapt, well, that is the Psych 101 textbook definition of intelligence.

Goals HAVE TO BE a stretch, something to reach for in the future.   If not, they are just sentences on a piece of paper.

I have set goals for myself and every time I reach them, I extend them.   We ALL have but one life to live and to live it to the fullest; we must strive to improve and achieve.   Personally, I like the challenge !

I like what Michael Setunsky said.  You have to set goals that promote growth and change, not just an achievement

Some people don't like to challenge themselves. It's all around you if you just look. The people who are always saying 'it's a hassle to do that'.

If it does not cause me to grown then it is a task not a goal.  

The third category...the unexpected which forces us to learn the moment lesson...Those are the best instant for growth & development

Yes, I do set goals, and cannot imagine one that does not involve growth or learning.  To me that would be the purpose of a goal Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041. 

That is a strange question. I believe we all want to improve in one way or another. No one wants to remain dormant, our business would certainly fail. It is a matter of action. How does one act to  improve growth and development.

when it comes to my business goals, they're not extreme any longer....I maintain a good balance of work and play.... already paid my dues!!!! 38 years of it.... 

I like to think a goal helps in personal development.

Some goals require some education or research, and have made some and have grown due to the efforts put forth.

Goals should always force growth, but not always in every direction.  Business goals don't require personal growth.  Personal goals do.

I set extremely high goals for myself and often this includes me making some changes in many different aspects of my life. 

My personal goals are sufficient and seem to call louder as the year advances.

Always development and growth.

Change usually brings positive growth.
