I'm me. Which IS what they need.

Oh, I'm me.  It works pretty well most of the time.

I am always "me", what you see is what you get!

It's all about business, don't care what people may think, but still be professional. 

I am me and sometimes that isn't good enough and they move on. Sometimes I move on too. For it to work for me it needs to work for both of us. With that said I do not impose my personal likes and tastes on anybody. That part is all about them and purely business.

I like to be ME. However in a business where you interact with the public, i first learn what the customer wants and or needs and then can adapt to provide a service that is all me or part me but never not me Roger D. Mucci 

If you and I were to chat on the phone just for fun, that "Jared" would be the same "Jared" that clients get, but I'm sure we'd cuss and get crude more than I would with a client.  

I'm always me, but there are different ratings of me.  Know what I mean?

In my former corporate life, I once had a manage say I had a "f you" personality.  I like to think I have mellowed since then, but it's hard for me not to be myself. And you know what you can do if you don't like it...ROFL (just kidding!)

I am my professional self in business, me but not as loose or playful as I am with friends.

Good morning Roger. This is the same skin bag you get at home, work and play.

I am who I am !   I tell it like I see it.   I'm opinionated (or hard headed, as my husband says) and I stand for what I believe in.   I don't "put on a show"  for anybody.   For those of you that don't know, my motto is:

                               " Be A Professional "

and that's how I do it.   30 plus years later, I'm still doing Virginia Mortgages and Refinances, so I must be doing something right !

People with dominant 'I' profile always want to be liked by others.

In sales, we have to bring up - or morph - our 'I' profile, even if we don't have it.

I really can't be anybody except me. Some people love me,some people detest me, it's all good !!!!

Try to be on the right side. Customer comes first. Only if they want to me my business partner.

I'm business and I'm me.  I'm serious about business, but I have a lot of laughs with my clients.  

I think I'm pretty genuine Roger D. Mucci . I may hold back a little for the first "get to know you" period but I let me be me if it looks like we are going to get along.

Of course I care, I don't go out of my wa to offend but I also believe in a positive, ethical, and honest culture, so if people are offended because I reject them when they voiolate basic principles, the so be it.

Both. Also depends on the client. Some clients are all about business, some( usually older clients) are more personal, they ask about your family, kids, pets, etc..

You always want to make a good impression, since you have only one chance. 

You got a lot of answers here from Realtors. Our relationships with our clients, I think, would be different than yours with your clientele. I'm afraid if I had a job like yours, I'd be more 'about business' because you are not, for all intents and purposes, establishing long term relationships. Interesting question.

Just me, cannot be anyone else, or who they want me to be, or we are not a good fit.

I have to be me. Im not a very good actor.

I am who I am.....and every one of my clients always understood it.... one of my investor clients made a name plate for me that said "Cut The S_ _ T" ...that was a gift to me, after one of our many closings!!

I'm professional, but my light hearted personality and sense of humor comes through most of the time. I'm pretty laid back and patient, but not so much when the situation dictates otherwise.

I never thought about this before but I think there is a tendency to be all business and who/what the customer wants us to be until a relationship is established. Once everyone gets to know each other a little, it seems most people relax and revert more to being themselves. It's a little like how we dress up for the first meeting with a new client and after we have met them a couple times, gradually dress in a more casual, relaxed fashion, albeit professional.
