Yes I took about 3 months off.  Burnout.

I have posted every single day that I can remember from 2006 -- OMG, I guess it's been 10 years now, except for the 2 weeks I was in Cuba over Christmas, but even then I set up drips on my personal blog. It's a day without sunshine, a day without hope, if I don't post something on AR and chat with my friends here.

Hi Tony & Suzanne - I've never taken one and I'm superstitious about doing it. Many members have and then come back for only a brief time and are gone.

I've been slacking and don't post as I used to.  I probably won't . . . it's a lot of work.  I think I've taken a few weeks away from AR from time-to-time.  

It was an exhausting 24 hours, happens every day

There are times when I'm simply too busy serving clients to blog. It's a matter of priorities.

2007-2015 because I forgot all about the site until it was brought to my attention. My main focus was on social media: FB, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest.

I've had a break of a couple of weeks, but certainly not one of months or years.

It works too well to take time off. I actually like being here, the day i dont, is the day i leave. 

I joined many years ago, probably from the very start of AR, I did nothing till 2015. Now i'm here daily.

I have managed to log in every day since 2006. After 10 years, I guess it is habit.  No breaks in my future.

Not since I started regularly posting daily in June 2012. When I first signed up I wrote a post and didn't log in again for 3 months.

I've never taken a break... although I began very slowly here. That said, there's nothing wrong with taking time off.

I took a break about a year ago. Really got burned out. It lasted for about 7 months,

I took a day off last Summer and I felt extremely guilty, as if I had just skipped school.

I have been active since 2007 but didn't get involved heavily until 2011.

Maybe a week or two is the longest I've been totally off.

I have taken time off whenever I went to India.

Not more than a day or two when I was busy.

I took a break for years.. then decided i need to add blogging and connections and referals

About three days.  Vacation and couldn't remember my password to login from my phone for those 100 daily points.

Well good you are back, no never have.

I took a break for several years until recently. I have noticed though that many in my area have taken a break from posting for the past year or so.

I think I may have missed a day or two while in mountains last year without internet.  But most days I found a peak somewhere that I could get my phone to work.

I was pissed and stopped posting for 2 weeks!!!! it was torture....

I took a couple of weeks off once.  The great thing was that not very many people noticed!

A few times, perhaps several weeks, and over a 2 year period slacked off quite a bit due to business and personal stuff

I have not taken a break but could use one. I was not as active in early years.

I have been going "strong" since I first logged in.  I have missed a couple of days, but I like the articles, blogs and information I get from being on ActiveRain.

I think you have to take some time off.  For 9 months of the year we're screaming busy and it would probably hurt our business if we kept on blogging.  

I blogged consistently (though no daily) from 2008 until 2012, but stopped when I fell ill.  I have recently made a commitment to get back into it.

Yes... After being one of the early  members on Active Rain, I took a several year break for personal/family reasons.  Came back last summer.  

I joined AR in March 2010 but didn't participate until November of that year. I've gone MIA at times.   

When I was first extended an invitation did nothing with it for 2 years. Then once I started took a 3 month break one time. Othr than vacations, I am pretty consistent.
