Of course, it has do with your license, but most importantly you should be honest with yourself.  A

There is a woman in my area who has taken out a paid advertisement AGAINST a lawyer in my area on Facebook,  and has numerous testimonials from other people who have posted about his dishonesty and integrity. Aside from the fact that I believe you should be HONEST when dealing with EVERYONE, in business it can kill you and could leave you without a license.

Honestly! A question about honesty?

The buyer is in the car, they qualify for all of $70,000 to spend on a home.

They ask, "Is this a safe neighborhood?" Honesty WILL get you in trouble so evasion is the rule.

The home owner asks, "What is the area standard for real estate professional fees?" Honesty WILL get you in trouble so the rule is evade the question by stating 'all professional fees are negotiable.'

Before your time, but that brings us to the Serpico issue..."It is not that they lie it just that they are prohibited(by law) from telling the truth."

Is honesty important? Of course it is. 

Does everyone lie? Of course they do.

Will you look a buyer or seller in the eye and break the law that prohibits you from being honest?  

What will YOU do?

Be honest and build trust and becoming an outlaw?

Evade and perpetuate the image?

Glad you were honest. Remember honesty goes hand in hand with disclosure. Without full disclosure honesty is simply a word.

Good morning Dane. Honesty has nothing to do with real estate, it is all about a human being, no matter what they do for a living. You either are trustworthy in everything you do, personally or professionally.

Dane Sanderson - well, this is true for ANY business and ANY relationship.

It all has to do with the future of your business.

When it is all said and done all you have is Integrity

Because I think honesty is important in life - both personal and business.  It would not matter to me what career field I worked in!  How can one be a person of their word, if they are not honest - my word would mean nothing if I was not honest.  It's like when my parents would say something and then 'shake on it' - their word was their bond, and I've always admired that Dane Sanderson.
