I used to be focused on future, regretting about mistakes in past, ignoring the present moment.....Not any more. I'm living in NOW enjoying every little thing and feeling blessed.

Not just focused on rewards of the future, but trying to control away nonexistent pitfalls based on meaningless past hobgoblins. Lose a couple of loved ones, have a health scare or near-miss, and guarantee, the past and future will make far less sense than a glass of wine and some Lucy reruns and letting the dog slobber all over your makeup. Life is short enough, so grab on and squeeze the holy crap outta it!   3:)

I've certainly been guilty of this in past decades, though as I've gotten older my focus has changed, and I'm more in the moment Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041.  My last career made me more aware of the words, 'tomorrow is not promised' so try not to take people and love for granted.  I've worked where there are no 'do overs'.    

I enjoy every moment the good Lord gives me and live life to it's fullest.   Life is the journey, death is the destination.   I'm enjoying the journey now.   I will gladly wait to reach the destination.

It does happen but, the truth is, we only have NOW... this moment.  I enjoy taking pictures but sometimes I just leave the camera behind and smell the roses.

If we are honest, many of us would have to admit to getting caught up in the rush. Get it done, get it done. I’m working on it, but not here yet.

In the spring and summer, we have to be focused, and not much social time allowed.

Every day.  Especially when I do my blog comments.

Some focus on the journey so much they have no eye on the (potential) reward of the future!

It cant be all work and no play. I learned my daughter will only grow up once. Now i schedule school events and games as appointments that come first

We cannot change the past and should live for the prsent that the future gives us a great reward.

This is a common situation for real estate professionals.

In my earlier years, guilty as charged. Now, not so much. I take the time to smell the roses!

I call it "futurizing", something that can occupy or just distract us from NOW. The present may be joyful or painful but I focus on NOW. And I enjoy everything I can every moment I can. I have done that Annette and wish I could have some of the time back.

I hate to admit, I am pretty guilty of this! Definitely something I need to work on, but there always seems to be time crunches and rushing!

As long as the journey doesn't include a little side trip through Dante's Inferno, I'm up for it.

Sometimes...but then I stop and take a deep breath and enjoy the journey!

I am very aware of this and try to enjoy life along the way. There have been times I worked so hard life was a blur.

Living the "Now" And grateful for every moment!

I am always reminding myself to enjoy the journey.

My sister died when I was 15, and she was nearly 14. I learned right away that life is short. We aren't guaranteed anything more than this moment, so I've learned to make those moments count. Every moment. They're all important. 

I'm making an effort to really enjoy the ride. 

Well I certainly try not to miss the joy of the journey, but there are times when I am impatient!

Constantly.  That is my problem of rushing headlong all day.
