Please, if anyone sees something that you believe is a violation of our community guidelines, I ask that you contact me. It doesn't have to be an ambassador. This community belongs to everyone, not just the Ambassadors. 

That also means that it belongs to people that don't get along well with others. Unless they are violating the community guidelines, we don't generally ask someone to leave for being boorish or rude. But if a pattern exists of someone continually being obnoxious I have no problem speaking with them about it. 

From my vantage point, this is exactly what someone acting as you described hopes to achieve. I'm sure they are chuckling to themselves right now and marking this up on their 'irritate at least one person every single day I walk the earth' list. My experience has been if you are around any community (be it online or in real life) for an extended amount of time you are absolutely going to find people you don't like, for whatever reason. It's best to just ignore and move on. But please send me anything you believe is a violation of the community guidelines. 

Maybe we should think about a block button....although I hate spending resources. But maybe everyone else thinks it's a good idea. 

I thought I was the only one who found them irritating - One of them called me out by name on a question and said she never agreed with anything I said -but in this instance she did agree with me - I was stunned that I had been so visible or disagreeable.... Moi? 

Honestly there have been times I have questioned asking a question because of this. Then I think of the many great people and insight I would be losing if I left. Instead of ignoring I sometimes just keep responding with overwhelming kindness it is the Kryptonite of negativity. I would miss you don't leave:) 

Roger I know which two you refer to here, one of which bothers me daily as he bullies the new folks and irritates everyone else.

I challenge him on his crap once in a while but generally feel it is not worth my time.

The other that bothers you so, does not raise any irritation in me, perhaps I have not read the same comments as you have.

In defense of our fearless leader, though you, I and many others would have been swift to smite the offender and banish them, Bob Stewart shows remarkable restraint and an immense sense of fairness.

These qualities of restraint and fairness are likely why he is the guy in charge of the banish button and we are not. 

If not for these qualities, a lesser leader may have found offense in you, I and many others over the years.

Likely best to still have a few of us still around here, flaws and all.

Although I will admit, at times, I read their stuff just for the entertainment, arrogance and stupidity.  In the end, it's their loss.

I've seen two men who I think are rude on every answer, but I can't say I've seen a woman be rude. But I've just discovered the Q&A section, so I'll keep an eye out. Unless you want to share privately and I'll --slap them for you like you did for me

Perish the thought that anyone here in The Rain would take a 'dump' on you or your obviously illuminating view of life. Line up the bastards; we'll throw rotted tomatoes at them. At least that is done in Italy...ok...many years ago, then pizza was invented.

I *think* I know to whom you are referring and just try to ignore them. On the rare occasion they publish something with which I agree, I still ignore them, refuse to engage and refuse to like anything they have said. 

I don't see the point of bringing so much negativity to the lives of other people...they must be sad, bitter, insecure little folks.

Good morning Roger. I am not willing to waste any energy with their stupidity. It just doesn't mean I need to play at their level.

Stuff like this is also part of our political race, they are not one bit embarrassed, but they should be. It will cost them in the long run.

The 2 Trolls want attention, just like all Internet Trolls.

Ignore them.  Report them.

I love the fact we can skip over those who irritate or infuriate us.   I have a very positive outlook on life and ActiveRain and a few stick in the muds don't deter me.

Hang in there Roger, there are those in the Rain who do respect this venue and will maintain it's core purpose of training and shared knowledge despite the malcontents.   Every group has a few of them.

Bullies want one thing, and that's a reaction.  

They're getting it here.

I was bullied for years by someone and all I did was fight back.  If they wanted a fight they'll get a fight!  We had epic wars that were exhausting and never solved anything.  They just caused more stress.  

One day this person sent me the nastiest, cruelest, meanest email I've ever read.  I wanted to rip this person's head off.  Literally.  

I started pounding away at the keyboard with my profanity filled response and then it hit me.  

Silence.  

This person wanted to own me, and they were doing just that up until the point that I ignored them.  

I was the bigger person, and I think you are too.  

Don't play into these people's games.  If they comment on one of your questions and you don't like it, move on.   Ignore them.  

They'll get bored and eventually stop poking the bear.  

My two cents is that they're winning right now.

I've seen a few of these comments on my things as well.  I thought we were to keep our comments professional and try to build others up, not tear them down on the site.  I usually don't respond to their comments.  Some people are just not happy & they want to bring others down.  Keep your funny sense of humor Roger D. Mucci!  Most of us enjoy it!

Most forums have moderators who just delete the offending posts so the offenders have a chance to clean up their act.

I feel your pain my friend and for the last couple weeks I was asking approx. 4-5 questions per week, and there were some comments t really didn't like. And if I was to roll through your questions & mine I could figure out real fast who these members are, if they haven't deleted their comments & replies 

So let me ask you a question Roger, are their comments still up?

And as an Ambassador, I moderate 20 groups, post 10-15 blogs per week and leave comments everywhere. Sometimes I think I know more about what's going on around here then some staff and or moderators from ActiveRain.

I have seen so much slack from the ActiveRain network when it comes to featuring blogs, answering emails and or AR members throwing out posts and comments asking ... "WHERE IS THE ACTIVERAIN STAFF?" 

Even though I am not part of AR staff Roger, you have my email address and as an Ambassador I am here to you, along with the other Ambassador's and nip this in the butt.

Anytime your having issues with certain individuals or certain posts, comments or replies to comments and your not getting a fast enough response from AR staff, shoot me a email, I know how to take care of them quickly 

And Roger, if this has not been resolved then contact Vegas Bob right away!

Hey Roger D. Mucci .  I have a feeling I know who you are referring to and I agree, they must be miserable people.  Unfortunately, being an Ambasssador on this platform doesn't come with any special policing powers.  Dare to dream.  My opinion matters no more than anyone else's.     

Over the years I've seen far worse offenders who sunk to levels of slander who never got more than a hand slap.  At the time, being a victim of such slander, I was furious.  In the end, the offending party alienated enough people that they removed themselves from this platform...no longer benefiting from what is offered here.  Since then, my skin has thickened up to this as I have come to realize that people that truly get hurt are the ones slinging the venom.   We all see them for what they really are.  In the meantime, their inablity to navigate Q&A in a remotely kind or neutral manner is like watching a bar room brawl.  You can't help but watch.  They think they are Rocky Balboa, but we see something totally different....the stumbling fool.

Don't let it chase you away.  

I remember someone asking "who's holding the gun to your head?" on a question I posted.  Had an interesting debate with her on that.  As to the sir, I know who you mean.  Sometimes he has a good point though, but most of what I see is not in line with courteous actions.

I have one darling here that I make a point of TOTALLY AVOIDING.... and he has done the same....life is good here....at one point, I was ready to snap.... just avoid him Roger....

if he makes a point of being nasty, let some of us know and we can all kick his/her ass..... 

Well Roger D. Mucci a couple of names popped right away reading this. I truley think people are "bigger' when they are typing and not in person, but we see their names? I wish they practice the old addage if you have nothing good to say, dont say anything!!!!

I'm grateful we have so many good members whom I enjoy, and those boors don't get me down. But I agree with you, Roger D. Mucci. I see Bob Stewart says any of us can contact him with complaints. Let's make that a habit when we see nasty comments here. 

Its kinda like all things in life... nothing is perfect and no one is perfect... if everyone was perfect the world would be boring... and then what would you do?  Roger you are refreshing and I would like to meet you in real life...   I wouldn't worry about people who are rude or caustic... often they are unhappy and don't have a good life of their own.... So don't worry be Happy! They are probably jealous!  

I'm not an ambassador so it can't be me. But in all honesty, why do you have to be rude to others? I think the woman whom you speak of has left me a rude comment or two. Not appreciated and there is no need for it.

But you have option to report any comment, I agree with Bob Stewart, the community belongs to everyone.

Roger I agree with you.  Since I am a licensing school and pose questions sometimes people reply with referring other people to 

different Real Estate Schools.  

The reverse would be for me to respond to their pitch by directing other potential customers to a competetitor of theirs.

I'm not sure if I should be offended or glad to not know who you're talking about, Roger D. Mucci ... obviously my mortgage posts are not even on their radar.  Again .. not sure if that's good or bad!!

If one of them is me, you'd let me know, I hope. Well, maybe in an email. Maybe that's what we should all do if someone bothers us? But then, I have a pet peeve too with someone and I've taught myself to just scroll by.

I guess I'm missing out on something here.  Not sure what's going on.  When someone is rude to me I just ignore and move on.  They do walk among us my friend.

Consider the situation presented and how valuable it is. Without compare and contrast, one doesn't know. With it, one knows for themselves and acts accordingly. Rudeness is a good contrast for kindness. Being abrupt calls attention to patience. A poorly thought out answer makes the good one shine. Judgment narrows the scope while objectivity broadens the mind. Ponder these things as learning tools and rise above the push & pulls....

I have not come across the post or questions probably because i do not follow them.

I will ignore anyone who is like that, but to be honest I have not seen any of that yet.
