Carol the Apple Blossom Festival sounds amazing. What a beautiful time of year with all the trees blooming. We have October Fest in our town and the annual Rodeo. It is always so fascinating to me how much time volunteers donate to make these events happen.

I work in a large rural area, there are thousands of these, wish I had time to blog about all of them, very good for the seo when I do.

The Apple Blossom Festival sounds like something I'd love to do. North Carolina is full of all sorts of annual festivals--too many to list here.

It is like every week, some good some bad.

Raleigh NC has the International Bluegrass Festival.  We took it away from Nashville a few years ago and it has been a great success here.   If you love bluegrass, plan a trip in October!

More than anyone could want. Every county has a fair, plus there is Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester VA, http://thebloom.com/sabf-news/ Occoquan, Herndon Town Fairs, Waterford Fair, etc, etc.

Yes,this is that time of year. There are plenty of activities here in Destin Florida. I feel a blog post coming on.

We have several one of the biggest in the arts and craft festival, held twice a year.  The other big one is BBQ, that is bikes blues and Bar B Que.  

Yes in Maine we have annual winter festivals that are heavily attended despite the cold temps.  In NY we have amazing food and heritage festivals.

Yup. We have a few. We also have a few parades. It's great fun!

We don't have them like the cherry blossom festival, those are really fun.

coming up pretty soon actually, we have the annual Dairy Festival.  (my area is the top dairy producing in my state)

We have many of them in my county. The biggest one is Applefest in my hometown of Cedaredge. It's held in October and started to celebrate the harvest. 

We have many like sunset celebration, bike nights, Jazz & blues festival, burrowing owls, cocunut festival.. Many more ! but the biggest one is the Oktoberfest!

Frederick County has a number of them, but the best known are The Festival of the Arts on Carroll Creek, in the summer, Oktoberfest and Color Fest in the fall

We have our spring festival next week called Rivers and Spires and our fall festival is Riverfest and Christmas lights is from Thanksgiving to New Years.

We have "Conejo Valley Days" which is an annual fair.  It lasts for five days I think.

We have so many here.  Our favorite is street painting that is held at the Mission.  A 

we have the Feast of St. Rocco.... we have a very large population of Catholics and this is a festival that St. Mary's Church has in the middle of August..... it's a tradition....

Every weekend from Oct to June. When June arrives the cloud burst that comes every summer afternoon (not the heat) makes summer festivals less popular.

The local police department and city commission have stated the calendar is SOOOOoooooo full they can accommodate no more.

I guess that means the "Annette Lawrence Real Estate Film Festival" is going to be a No-Go.

We have the state fair of Texas every September.

Not necessarily festivals but lots of events -- there always seems to be something going on in the greater Los Angeles area.  

We have all kinds of annual community events. But the biggest thing we have every year and it's coming up in a couple of weeks is the Laughlin River Run.

Chicago blues , Jazz, Lalapalooza, Air and Water show, gospel fest , food fest.  gay parade, just name a few. Chicago is acuity with many festivals .

Carol Williams I used to live in Winchester, Virginia. They have an annual Apple Blossom Festival and say they are the apple capital of the world.

Yes. There are many festivals in the DC area.

We have late Summer/early Fall Agrica Fairs that are very well attended !

Our county seat has plenty of them throughout the year.  Country Music, Applesfest, BluesFest, Christmas Horse Drawn Carriage Parade, and more.  And if you head to Cincinnnati the annual Taste of Cincinnati Memorial Day weekend is HUGE, as is the annual Oktoberfest. 

The list would be and is long!
