I had 78 showing in 5 days, 22 offers and went $75,000 over asking on my last listing, I stayed far away from the madness. Agents were trying to bribe me over the phone, it was ridiculous! But, my Washington DC sellers loved me, got my first bottle of champagne via mail, from a client for that!

Consider countering that the buyer shall remove the appraisal contingency and show funds to cover a deficit, if any.

The buyer could walk away from the property for another reason, but the psychological commitment can carry some weight.

OMG!  I've never had that happen in our area.  That's crazy.  Hopefully you got one fantastic offer so you could just accept one and either counter the others into backups or just reject.  It would take a whole day to manage all those offers -- or multiple offers.  Would I direct traffic?  No I would just wait for the dust to settle.

At some point you have to stop the showings (such as the end of the day) remove lock bx or change code and start reviewing, with that many i may not ask for a highest and best unless none met my sellers goals. Choose the best in terms not just price
