there is nothing hard about that....that's the easiest part....learning to make your phone ring with new business is the most important and sometimes difficult part...

Putting what you used in class to the real world. Unfortunately, they've spent much to much time on things that you will never use vs. selling skills.

    Enduring the agony of long, boring classes.

  When I went for my Broker's license, I signed up for a 60 hour class.  It was Monday through the next Monday (8 days at 8 or 9 hours per day with a lunch break).

    By Saturday, my nerves were shot.  The material was beyond boring.  It was 90% totally useless.  But I made it to the end.  Then I took a weekend crash course (test prep).  I passed the test.

    Now in Florida, they have upped the Broker license to 72 hours, plus another 60 hours within two years.  That sounds like pure torture.

Taking classes in some states is more difficult than others

That was the easy part. Perhaps the more relevant question is what is hard about being real estate agent?

Memorization needed to pass the test. However, memory doesn't cut it in the real world. Experience, knowledge with repetition does the results trick

Getting licensed was the easiest and, to me, most boring part. The barrier to entry is low.

Getting licensed was very easy.

Getting licensed is not difficult. Becoming a real estate professional is a bigger challenge.

If you study and have good memorization skills, getting licensed in my state is fairly easy.   It's that next step that is crucial to a successful career.

Memorizing needless facts and sitting through the boring classes. Once you pass the test, reality sets in!

The money part.

Getting licensed is easy...just pay your money, attend the classes, read the books and study, study, study and pass the exam. The hard part is in getting established in the industry and learning how to build your business and service the customers.

Not hard getting the license, but the fees and expenses you need to start up your business are considerable.

Finding the time to sit in class

Surviving the first year if this is your only source of income.

Waiting for an exam to be marked so you can sign up to the next required course.

There are so many sample exams available that anyone taking the test who has doubt should follow their inner instinct.

Moral to the story: All the questions are easy when you know the answer.
