what's the significance of this??  I spend too much time blogging and members are wasting too much of their time following me!!  see, I answered my own question

Tony and Suzanne, I have an earth shattering 80 posts and just under 300 followers.  

I do like to comment on others' posts as I have a 7.5 to 1 ratio in commenting to blogging points.

I'm not sure this has any meaning, though.   I have no idea how many of those followers are still Active on AR.

Most of my posts are for homebuyers and sellers in my area, but when I do write a post for my ActiveRain followers it is to share with them. I don't care how many followers I have and the ones I do follow, interest me on what or how they express themselves.

Well, I have 609 followers as of today and 1154 blog posts... but I don't know why this ratio would or should matter. Elucidate please!

I have no idea...what I can tell you is that followers come and followers go..but blog often and see who you'll know !

Many posts : 250 something followers.

Almost 2 to 1 (posts to followers).

I agree with William Feela.

I do have more posts than follower's.

That number is arbitrary...So many that follow me are gone

I don't know why that should matter or what it would indicate.

Followers / blog posts = 5.7  Is that a good number?

Blog posts / Followers = 0.18  Hmm, is that a good number?

I can't calculate that and include the hundreds of posts I nuked during the big blog dump of 2010 . . . but people who follow us and people who actually read or click on our posts can be quite different.

I do not post much..., but I stop by other posts and Qs daily;  so 514 posts and 494 followers.

I don't keep track of the number of blog posts I have written. Is this important to do? I just write as I have time and feel motivated to do it.

I don't know.

I have twice as many posts as followers.  But I seem to pick up Followers from my comments, more than from my posts.  Perhaps I'm more entertaining in short bits  : )

Tony, I don't know and I don't care...   I don't have as many followers as a lot of people and don't follow as many, either, but I am a quality over quantity type. In my opinion, AR should be fun and a relaxing diversion from the daily grind so I never thought of tracking those metrics.

I want to know where ones mind needs to go to think of something like this? Seems that Barbara Todaro may have wondered something similar.
