Absolutely move on UNLESS you are asking for something so unique that even the best Realtor could not find it Denise Amara . As an example are you looking for a 6 bedroom home with a triple garge on 2 acres for under $100,000.

A conversation is needed before any decision is made. I've found there is always 3 sides to a situation and the one in the middle is the truth.
Open up the lines of communication, find out what is wrong and then make your decision.
Groan, now I have an ear worm; should I stay or should I go . . .

MOVE ON IS THE RIGHT ANSWER.... you should meet face to face with the buyer's agent and interview her....just as she should YOU.... and if it's a marriage from heaven, it will work well...if not, keep moving to the next one...

I agree with Roger D. Mucci it won't get any better fromt this agent. I have heard this same story from clients of mine who were referred to an agent by their friends only to be ignored. Find an agent that is willing to go the extra mile for you no matter your price point and will be there for you past closing! Good luck in your home search Denise Amara!

I'd reach out and ask. Could be their emails got eaten by a spam filter, could be there just isn't anything out there. Could be they're a flake or in the hospital.

Two weeks is a bit much . . . However, I have to ask: do you have specific or unusual requirements? Also, is there a possibility that the agent did not enter your e-mail address properly to provide you with automatic notifications? I have 3 deals going on right now and all three of the co- broke agents are having internet trouble and they're all pretty smart so I would say make sure it's not a 'Mercury retrograde thing', then move on--ALSO, you might mention to the person that recommended that agent that they're not on it.

Good morning everyone!
I absolutely loved all the great answers I received. I can see why you all like this section of Active Rain so much!
Many thanks to everyone who contributed to the discussion. Especially to Bob "RealMan" Timm for jumping on it so quickly.
So, to bring a somewhat conclusion to the mystery, this morning I woke up to receiving a very nice, unprovoked email from my Realtor.
She explained that she was waiting to be within 30 days of that May date.
Now I have 46 properties to flip through. :)
Make it a great week!
Sincerely,
Denise

I hope you move on and don't waste time with someone who doesn't appear to demonstrate that you are a priority to her. There are many qualified professional agents who can help you. Good luck in your search!

I would definitely check in with the agent and ask. If you are finding listings on a public portal and not receiving updates from the agent ... that is a red flag.
Having read your comment below that states "technically cannot get a mortgage until May 21" may be the reason. If the market is moving quickly, like it is in my very hot sellers market, I would not want to be "shopping with you" until the approval was in hand. If you wanted to go to open houses, if they have them in your area, and "window shop" homes ... fine to do that on your own.
Find out what is going on with that agent. If you are not getting the responses you want/need ... let the agent know that. If there is no corrective action taken by the agent ... move on. We can find you a great agent right here in the AR community!!!

Do you know her and like her and want to work with her? That's one thing.
If you just haven't heard and you've been waiting (at the very least you should have been set up on a property search), I would move on and find someone you're excited to work with.
I think you're close enough (if you've been to a a lender) to look, but that's a lender issue. Since you won't be closing until after May 21, I'm not sure if your offer has to be after that date, or your closing has to be after that (I'm afraid it might be the former), but definitely something to speak with a lender about. Get your pre-approval letter, get yourself inline and ready, and hit the ground running with someone you like.
There are several excellent Rainers in Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale, and two good ones in Coral Springs (Irene Medina and Lynn Pineda). There may be a lot more here, but those are the two I know about.
In the search bar on AR (upper right corner in blue bar), put in Coral Springs and see who all comes up.
Best of luck!!!

Are you depending on her for your searching or looking on line as well. Did you discuss this as well as your search criteria. I think it's time for a serious discussion regarding your concerns, or move on

Find someone else.
If what you are asking for does not exist and nothing is available, the agent should be discussing that with you, Her non-response tells me that she is not motivated to work with you.

In our market, maybe a home in a specific price point has not come on the market. But if there have been homes coming on the market, and you are not receiving, it definitely is time to move on!
3,213,539
I don't know enough to make a suggestion. Have you told the agent what your timeline and expectations are?
I will say that I would never hire an agent without IDX and the ability to let me control my own search I could save.
736,432
Yes, you need to move on! Especially if you are seeing things and know they are out there!
1,751,937
It may be that your search criteria are too restrictive and there is no inventory suitable. I would call the agent and have a discussion.

Hi Denise, a few things run through my mind when trying to answer your question. I'm assuming your REALTOR® signed you up for direct MLS emails correct? When we do that for our clients, they receive an invitation to their own client portal immediately. Many MLS email systems are similar. If she signed you up, please check your SPAM folder as emails may go in there.
My next thought is how specific are your housing requirements along with size of city? If you are looking in a smaller sized town, maybe not too many homes come up on the market that fit your requirements. A small town of around 2000 I service may only have about 20 homes on the market in a year. As with your requirements, we have had this happen with some clients of ours too. They wanted a home in a specific area of town and it had to meet a long list of requirements. The more specific you get, the less chance of getting property listings. You also have to remember not all agents fill out the MLS data sheets correctly or they are not entered in correctly. The old saying, garbage in equals garbage out.
Before moving on, you should sit down with your agent and communicate with them. It may be as simple as removing a requirement from your search, mistyped email address, or something really simple. Your agent may be thinking you are receiving emails. Where we are, we currently have little inventory as well which could be the case for you too.

Time to move on - intereview a few and pick one you feel comfortable with
A little advice - if you are using an agents website, that is the one you should pick - after all they are providing you the tools you need to do your search!
1,292,445
I am not sure of all the facts in this situatiion to make a decision. Someone else mentioned did you interview this agent before you decided on working with this agent? Bad on you if you did not specify your requirements.
8,153,230
You should request automatic notifications as new properties become available. This assumes that you have already been pre-approved for financing.
634,582
Talk to her, tell her what you want and ask if she will deliver. Give her a chance is she says yes and if she doesn't, move on.
2,538,789
Good morning Denise. Unless you have asked only to receive something that just doesn't exist. I would at least ask what is going on, if you don't get an answer that makes sense, I would move on.
2,234,859
Maybe you are in a slow market area. Mine is like that. Anything below 150K you don't see much happen, but if you haven't heard from your agent in two weeks, you might want to reach out, and probably consider finding a new agent.
35,694
4,322,035
Denise Amara - little strange - and it seems this agent does not know the value of referrals!
Call the person who referred you this agent - talk to the agent once again and discuss what's in it for you - and if you think this agent cannot help you - move on!
1,650,542
Be proactive and find someone you feel comfortable with. If there is no MLS updates, there are two reasons: first: your criteria set is something that does not exist; second: she forgot to set an update.
3,988,138
It does seem you don't have trust in your agent, already. I would say a serious conversation about expectations needs to take place and if you and the agent can't come to terms, part ways.
321,664
2,444,970
I think it depends on how you have defined your expectations. Some buyers want to drive the bus and others want all the work done for them - There is no wrong way to find a home, but you need to be clear what your expectations and needs are. If your realtor doesn't meet your needs and style, you should find someone who is a better fit for you.
957,679
Denise, as many have said you both need to chat and go over expectations. methods of communication, and what you both expect of each other.
If things don't work out Patty Da Silva here on AR has an awesome team that serves Broward County. I referred my wife's nephew to her and they took great care of him and found him just the property he was looking for that closed this past New Year's Eve day.
1,619,811
Have you heard from this agent at all in two weeks is my bigger question? I call my buyers every week, sometimes multiple times per week pending their activity level. Seems odd that an auto search is not sending any inventory and no calls from the agent too? Unless you simply have a budget that's not capturing any properties?
67,369
Move on as she seems to be a dud! I am so sorry this happened to you. Ask your friends and family for a referral from them on agents they have worked with. Interview them and work with the agents that you feel meets your needs. Good Luck
922,444
No, you are not unrealistic. You should've moved on a long time ago, that is nearly two weeks ago, after you didn't hear back within a couple of days; especially if you followed up.
1,513,143
You should have had two phone calls from her already.
If she has not called and you did not sign a buyers agreement with her; move onto the next!
1,262,452
EMail and request one more time........
Did you ck ur spam mail folder?
2,849,068
"Getting to know you", by the song of the same name, is the next step. Communicate until there is a connection. If no connection, hang-up and try another number
1,870,553
I would say that she should have sent you something OR an email saying nothing existed in the areas you wanted.
Case in point, one buyer wanted a townhouse in xyz city at a certain price - zero showed up because it was just too low for that area.
5,774,100
Denise,
Find out what is going on prior to making a decision. Then move on, if there is no viable reason. A
1,525,616
I would reach out to her one more time, but if she doesn't respond move on to another REALTOR.
3,344,851
Hmmm....if you are in a "thinventory" market like we are in southeastern Wisconsin, buyers that have very specific needs are finding it difficult. We encourage being more flexible...a few more miles etc...If you have heard nothing...like " I am sorry there is nothing right now in your area...have you thought about ....." just say Bye and don't buy...feel free to contact us...even if you are not in Southeastern Wisconsin..I will bet we know an outstanding buyer's agent who get help u ! Good Luck !
933,268
Sending listings is just one small factor in the whole process. You can set up searches yourself on a variety of sites. I would communicate with the agent, then if this continues, move on. The agent should have at least contacted you and said" I'm just not finding anything that matches your criteria".
3,986,473
I owuld ask why. It could be that there is nothing that fits yoyr parameter
2,249,554
2,324,782
Has she communicated with you at all? If not, I say move on. She probably is busy and not taking you seriously.
