Perhaps half of us could provide the correct answer and the other half provide the wrong: see if they can tell the difference?

Write a Blog titled, "Answers to Questions for Utah Real Estate School Students". Those students repeat the same 10 or 12 questions over and over, so it would be a short Blog.
Then, when a question is asked by one of these aspiring Utahns, you could just post a link to the Blog.

I think that the folks at AR have enough issues to deal with without having to create a new Q&A section, the cut and paste idea is a good one and should be employed.

I am not sure that would help at all. Are they reading the questions and answers? If so there wouldn't be the same question posted on the same page. I think they are being used and being misled by their instructors and it is sad.

Mimi,
I think our best best is to stop giving them the time of day. I have answered several questions at length, and I see them repeated over and over again. We are not here to be instructors. They are paying for real estate school and their instructors should be doing their job.

Oh I don't answering the same questions 14 times (so far this year). I get points, or I can choose to ignore.
I was going to suggest a post with all the questions they ask (A Utah Real Estate School FAQ List) but then I saw Fred Griffin 's excellent suggestion

Tony and Suzanne Marriott, Associate Brokers -- parked and reading.
Roger D. Mucci -- I'm taking the fifth -- of Dewar's.
Susan Emo -- I'm keeping my eyes on my Q's and A's.

Their assignment requires them to post questions on Activerain and then print out the question and answers and turn it in. It doesn't require any thought or analysis.
It is completley rude and unprofessional behavior.
The powers that be at Activerain should not allow students to join, or allow the category of "industry observer" to join. That will eliminate these stupid questions from being asked over and over again.
I belong to a group similar to Activerain for lawyers, and that group does not let students post or participate because of a similar problem with the repeated posting of stupid questions.
I wish AR would do something about this, but people have complained and nothing is ever done.

I'm kind of at a loss as to what benefit it is to have the students come here and ask questions that most of us have answers based on our state - how can that possibly help them in Utah?

I am not completely against them. Some questions are well thought out. My only wishes are they include their name, include a photo and readback to make sure no one else has asked it. Lastly the question should be in apositive note such as How can you avoid fraud in real estate INSTEAD of name some fraud you see in real estate.

I believe in a more serious study group post on Yahoo groups. AR is not the place.
These who post on AR asked questions unrelated to licensing or test are just not going to make it.
Did you ever study this way expecting others to provide answers for free?
By Utah law most of us are not qualified to coach or teach as there is a licensing educator catagory with its DRE. Where are these license educators when students need them?

-

Absolutely NOT!! I've taken the "Mr. Wonderful" approach. I answer their questions, but for a 15% royalty on their commissions until I get $150,000 at which point the royalty goes away.
In reality, I have a text file with my answer that I copy and paste when I'm desperate for the points.
Or... we could PUNK these kids and tell them "find the broker wearing the most gold chains and work for them. Kind of like ordering a "cement mixer" for people who turn 21 at the bar.

We just need en mass to refuse to answer their questions. Then they will be forced to do the research we had to do when we studied for our licenses. Too many in our world are looking for instant gratification. Get the knowledge the old fashioned way; STUDY!

A good question for Bob Stewart.
One thing is that the school would need to change their curriculum to let the students know that they have their own section.
