Not here. They keep trying to make the city more bike friendly at the expense and anger of us car drivers.

I'll be out and about later and will see. There are lots of bikes in our area in general anyway

Sam Shueh I saw three bike riders this morning. I Don't know if it had any significance other than they were getting some exercise.

In your state Everyday should be Ride Your Bike to Work Day.
I generally walk to work though.

Sam, we have a day for that too, and as long as the weather is good, it is quite popular.

Too hot and humid for workers to use bikes to work. Lots of bikers, but for exercise.

I love it! We see more bicycles in Los Angeles as well, but there are still not many.

Dedicated bike lanes on many busy streets here in Chicago. On one street over 22% of the traffic are bicycles!

We forget, Sam Shueh how many other locales do not enjoy the great weather we have here in California so that motorcycle riding, bike riding, jogging, even walking is not an every day activity. They have to contend with things we don't even understand like sleet, freezing rain, lightning storms, snow, hail (that will make you dive for cover), hurricanes, tornadoes and dust/wind storms. All we have is infrequent rain and earthquakes every five or six years...we live outside and at the beach here.
BTW, thank goodness it is not really Bike to Work Day today (5/20), I gotta go to the office later and I don't want to have to navigate a sea of bikes from Apple. Can you imagine??

It poured down rain until midday so haven't seen a bike all day.

The local bicyclists in Tallahassee have a "ghost bike". It is painted totally white, including the wheels and the handlebars.
Whenever a bicyclist gets hit by a car and killed (about once a year), they chain the ghost bike to a nearby tree or sign, and leave it there for a couple of weeks as a memorial.

It poured rain here in Charlotte... so I can't say I saw any bikes.

Hi Sam - A couple of years ago, there was a bike-to-work coffee stop next to our office. A guy rode in, parked his bike, went next door and robbed a bank, walked back to his bike and rode off. They never caught him, but at least he helped the environment.

Not in Dallas, and I must say bike riders are becoming a big pain.
