It's been a daily habit of mine for 5+ years (August will make 6 years straight).  And I don't buy into the "you have to sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity" argument.  There are ample topics out there, and some of it is repeated topics (e.g. monthly market reports and such) that get updated.  In general, it's about 30 minutes a day to draft a post, and considering the return I get with leads for our business, it's one of the best time investments I make each day.

A piece of cake Michael. If you have extra time one day make some market report templates and drafts. Schedule and post them when you are on the run and do regular posting as you have time. There are many bloggers who do more than  365 in a year.

Yes it is possible and I have done it for 4 years. Now some days I write more than one and put them in the scheduler to publish on a day I am very busy or out of pocket.

This is a classic QUANTITY vs. QUALITY debate. If you slightly rephrase the question as "Is it possible to write 365 Quality Blog Posts per year?" then my answer is no.... at least not if you plan on accomplishing anything else during the day. If all you do is write blog posts then it is possible to write that many but I still question on if the quality would be there.

I do think it is possible if that's what you want to do. I love coming to AR and blogging, reading post, etc. However, I do get busy and since it isn't my first priority, I only post a couple days per week. That's one reason I'm thankful for re-blogging. Sometimes I find great blogs I missed when I wasn't able to get on AR.

I think it's possible, as I see so many here on AR doing it ... or close to it anyway.  But I will admit, I'm not likely to among them.  While it remains a goal to post daily, I also accept that some days probably won't allow for it.  I used to beat myself over it ... not anymore ...

I think it is possible if you have free time every day or a big block of free time where you can create them and schedule them to post for a later date.  I tried that and created an entire weeks worth of post but they never did post, so therefore I only post when I have time to be creative.

I've tried, but I take writing so seriously and edit and revise so much, it's not feasible. I applaud and stand in envy of those who can. I think it's completely possible, just requires some discipline at first and then it becomes sort of second nature. I've done it for a month straight, for a contest, so I know it can be done and gets easier, without sacrificing quality, as Liz and Bill Spear pointed out. There are so many topics swirling in my head, I should challenge MYSELF to post each day.

Hey, Michael !
I there are no doubts that it is theoretically possible to write 1 post each day. The question is if it's worth to spend a short period of time to write generic blog posts or it's best too spend a week or something to make something that is unique and offers a USP that no other type of content can actually provide.
First, make difference between quality and value. A post with a very poor quality may have a great value for the reader. That is a perfect opportunity to get a lot of traffic with a generic post on at topic with high interest which is repeated again and again because its evergreen.
When you look for quality it's a lot harder but this offers different benefits. Creating a blog post that offers unique information that cannot be found anywhere on the web which has been gathered from somewhere else through other forms of research etc. can make a lot of people to actually link to you as a the initial source of the subject. That will brind you traffic, backlinks (a lot of link juice) and will help you get some brand identity ? Do you agree with me ?

This can easily be done with the "auto-schedule" feature where you can knock out a few week's worth of blogs on a slow day.  I haven't done it & don't have the desire to, but could certainly see it being possible.
