I own some stock given me by my grandparents but I don't really "play" the market - I don't know enough to play actually

I prefer Real Estate investments, something I have a good understanding of and can manage.

On the other hand stock can go to zero but you will always have the land.
I don't play the market, I invest and have for decades. Yes I see many tells in market behavior that often - but not always - precede shifts in the RE market.
I am not currently in the market...fired my stockbroker nearly 15 years ago after he lost 95% of my IRA. I gradually rebuilt it on my own then took a hiatus from stocks.
John DL Arendsen - not tried. The best investment should be - Real Estate, I think.
We did in the past - loved those software company stock options!
I do not play...I invest for the future
I have someone "play" it for me. He does much better at it than I would.

Have a financial adviser that does it for me. Still have my hand in some real estate investments.
long ago, I did....then I focused on real estate... bought 4 to 6 unit buildings and converted to condos ....flipped....
Not any more.
I don't play.
You may have better results when using a professional.
Our financial adviser does a wonderful job in handling our portfolio. I believe in doing what I do best and hiring the rest.
I don't play the Stock Market, but i would definately put my money on Real Estate.
I don't play in it and leave my investing to my stock broker and his recommendations. He doesn't do real estate and I don't do stocks.
In my 20s I lost more $$ in stocks and venture capital investments than most people my age made in a year. After that, I went cash and now only invest in real estate. Any stocks I own now are only "fun" stocks just to say I own them.
Not a player.
