I've never experienced any resentment coming my way!!  and I've had many subdivisions where I was the Queen of the Hill!!!  better they list with the one who has the most toys.... that's the one who controls that market....

Some will always resent while others will flock to a winning agent, most do want to work with a winner.

I guess I'm from the old school. Success breeds sucess. Folks seem to want to deal with a proven track record. One deal seems to lead to another.

There are enough agents that I don't see a large percentage with one particular person.  I'm not sure how a seller would be resentful over the success of an agent, maybe at so many homes churning though.

I don't think resentment sets in, the owners wonder how many other listings are competing with them (listed by you) in their area. It's sometimes tough when there are 3 of the same model for sale & they are all yours.

That's also because everyone's house is better than everyone else's which we know isn't true.

I think homeowners would think you are the neighborhood expert, not resentment.

I have never heard of resentment by homeowners when an agent is dominating the neighborhood with sales.

No clue Annette Lawrence , Palm Harbor, FL 727-420-4041!  I could see other realtors that sell and buy in that community not be happy if one realtor had all of the clients, i.e., a monopoly, but don't see how or why homeowners would be resentful . . .

I had a seller call me because "that other company has all those signs out and their listings don’t seem to sell. I keep seeing the same signs in the same yards." Moral of the story, if you are going to own a neighborhood you better be selling the properties.

As long as prices are rising, there shouldn't be a problem.  But, when they start falling, it can get nasty.

I have never had that experience. Usually where I have worked there are more than enough homes for everyone to sell.

Are you having a problem with the homeowners? I suggest a block party to ease the tension!
