No, I would hate to reverse course when a digital signature has saved so much time and effort in an already tedious process.

I love eSign but it doesn't work for all documents. If a document must be notarized, the person must appear before the Notary so it would have to be a wet signature vs. eSign. Other than that, it's eSign for me.

I think the deed should still have wet signatures and acknowledgements as the notary is attesting to the indentiy of the signers.

I like them all that way.  Electronic sigs could be done by a family member unlawfully

I am old school but it seems like electronic signatures are here to stay. I do think that closing docs such as mortgages and deeds should have a "wet" signature or be signed by someone with a power of attorney.

Sally K. & David L. Hanson I think Richard Weeks makes a good point about wet signatures required for documents that have to be notarized.

Sally I would like to see all 'wet sigs' for goodness sakes. But we have to deal with the few docs that still need wet sig. Maybe at some point in the future they'll get over their reasoning why wet sigs are critical.
