I can have a minute pity party but usually I see the bigger picture and open myself up to better opportunities coming my way. Life is too short for anything else.

After 36 years in the business I know that things usually work out for the best so I don't beat myself up. I do have regrets for a few minutes or hours or maybe a day but then get back to work.

I used to but now I do not take it personally.

Depends. Sometimes I get a strong vibe of wishicouldahadas and sometimes I overwhelmingly feel they are not my type at all - good riddance. I have definitely experiened both strongly.

I'm fairly even keeled and just move on - on the outside that is ;)

I would like to say that I always do the zen thing, but then that may not be the truth, so I wont.

Yes, I give myself a day or so to come down, take a long nap or destruct myself somehow to clean my mind and the next day( hopefully) I move on, to find another home, or another buyer, or fix the issue in any possible way. 

Nature has a way solve its own problem.  A skilled agent will often not interject and wait for problems to resolve over time.  But the agent should try to come with an effective way save the deal. Compromise, compromise.

I always go into it that if the property is meant to be theirs, it will be.  If not, move on...

Honestly it depends.  Why did it fall apart, how much did I have invested, is it what my clients want to happen or the other side of the transaction? I tend to blow up if my clients are getting the shaft, but if my clients decide to walk for what they consider a valid reason I take a breath, have a cocktail that evening and move forward.

Zen is the last thing that happens

There have been a few where I really felt crappy.  But Zen is certainly the ideal.

Not a Zen person, but do feel disappointed.  Regroup, refocus.  Most disappointed if I did not get the listing; buyers usually buy something else

After I've done all I can, it's Que sera sera.

You have to accept the fact that everything in life does not always work out in your favor. Zen baby Zen.

I only worry about things I can control.

Stuff happens.  I allow myself a moment or two(okay, sometimes more) then I move on.   

Fortunately, things do work out most of the time.

I'm Zen.

I just move on ... stress is a killer. Zen baby ... Zen.

I get back to work.  If I had any feelings, they would be hurt.  

I'd say I'm somewhere in between Lise Howe . I review to see if I could have done anything that would have resulted in a more positive outcome and if the answer is no then I'm good, if I did something stupid to kill the deal I'll beat myself up... a little.

It depends on what happen

After the world's smallest violin finishes playing the world's saddest song... nah, just kidding.  Deals falling out is a part of the game and I do my darndest to not get attached to the outcome.

I beat myself up for a few days (whether deserved, or not), and then try to move on.

First the latter, briefly, on an emotional level, then the former once reason returns.

if a deal does not work, I'm on to the next deal .....I put no more thought into business that was an empty bag...

I do, but only after all effort is expended on behalf of my clients and their wishes

I go Zen...it is what it is and so long as I didn't contribute to the problem, I'm not beating myself up.

After 30 years in the business, I move on and realize that things will happen and not take it personally.

If by Zen you me a couple Martini's, then YES I go Zen. 

I used to beat myself up when I was new and "needed the money", but I'm well trained & experienced and I work hard and relationally these days; the only time I'm down on myself today,  is when I was at fault: for falling short of my capabilities. But, when I give 100% effort and an honest mistake happens or a failed deal...moving on with no self imposed berating.

This industry will eat you alive from the inside out if you do not learn to fall, get up, brush off and move forward.

My Motto is "NEXT!" no time for extended pity parties. Always ask myself 2 questions: Did I did my best to make it work? Was there anything I could have done better to save it? Learn from it and move on!

If it was meant to be, it would be.  Move along to the next thing.

Lise Howe Issues usually have a way of working out. No sense in beating yourself up.

Whats your is yours as long as you don't bungle it or turn it away. That's why it is important to know oneself. If something goes wrong, the problem lies elsewhere

Then I recall that I have been forgiven the transgression of many things, that there is no 'right' to not be kind to others, that the lesson of life is love, forgive myself, then life goes on.

It depends, usually how mad i get is how it blew up. Some times i do vent but i move on quickly or we would not survive this business. 

Rarely - if ever - will a deal in progress not work out.  It does require significant effort some times!

Count to ten and start again! Life is not a series of continuous victories!

I will be upset for a day and then move on.
