They have been developed, and many of our people have them memorized, others follow them step by step.

I did many moons ago but now I find they're not necessary for me. My systems are in place.
For 4 decades I've completed my 6 important things to do list. Each night before going to bed I would complete the list (which I found helped me to sleep better) but now I don't need to write it down.

Yes, definitely. It helps me stay organized and gets me to not have scraps of paper everywhere with notes on them! I found my buyers and sellers didn't really use them, so I have reminders to them as time goes by that I send.

I have my own checklists as a stager that include things like giving client the invoice (lol), and I also have checklists for the client, including the obvious things to address in the home as well as the not so obvious things that will keep them in action when the emotions begin to bog them down.
As Susan Emo reported, when it's on paper, it's not in their head bothering them, keeping them awake at night. Actually, when they are falling asleep is when they remember things. I tell them to keep the checklist and pencil handy by the bed so when they recall something, they can note it and get on with falling asleep. Checklists are not an indication of weakness; they are mature self-managment to create $ucce$$. (Hmm. This looks like a blog to me.... : )

yes because working with mulitple clients if you have a checklist and they call to get an update then you can say this was just completed and this is what we are working on now when you pull their file up

Jeff Dowler CRS - I have a few only.
Couple of them related to before closing. One for Closing Costs. And couple of them more.
However, just wondering what 20 activities from buyers or sellers will require such checklists?

You bet!
Even when not used they provide a good sequential overview for everyone involved.
