Talk real estate wherever you go and recognize opportunities are everywhere. I remember being in the hospital after having my heart stint and talking with my cardiologist about buying rental property. He was very interested and ended up buying.

Definitely a contact sport, but we do not refer ourselves out as a 'Team'. I take issue to that term used in RE. Contacting new people? Get out in public away from these horrible machines that are eating up our lives.

To agree real estate is a contacts sport one must also accept it's a numbers game. More and more and more is better.

Another approach could be that real estate is like the 'draft.' Those athletes who have created the greatest talent are the one valued highest.

Perhaps creating value is a better option for some who are in real estate.

Dialing for dollars or word of mouth, both are valid options. However, there are more options than these two.

How can we contact new people on a regular bases? Go where the people are and have a little honey with you.
