I don't... if they don't confirm on their own, I'll ask then. But I rarely have an issue with this. Then again, I also have a tracking program on my email that shows me when someone has opened my communication.

Paul absolutely, not only do I ask in my email please confirm... I go a couple steps further, I let them know via Voice Mail or if they answer the phone in person... and I sent a text as well... so maybe I am overboard but it works for me...Endre

Yes, if I don't get a confirmation of receipt of the documents then I always follow up with email and phone call.  When I am on the receiving end, I send email confirmation and then call or text.  This gives me the opportunity to thank them for a complete packet or ask for needed documents.

Absolutely, the minimum is a text to them but more often than not, a phone call. Unless I hear that they received it, I presume they didn't.

Having been an expert witness and construction industry expert for the past 25 years I'm a firm believer in establing a very thorough PAPER TRAIL. The devil's always in the details. 

In fact to take it one step further my TC always snail mails me a complete transaction record on a flash drive. I really don't like surprises.

To err is human, NOT double and sometime tripple checking can cost you and your client money due to incomplete paperwork.  So it is super important that you do confirm receipt of all pages, clear copy and legible.
