I'd appreciate any opinions about IXACT Contact CRM and their associated websites, good or bad. I'm looking to set up my own CRM rather than use the company one.

you should ALWAYS use your own CRM - that way it is portable if your feelings about your company change - and no one else has access to it.

After going through and NOT using a number of CRMs, IXACT contact is the one that finally stuck, in other words, I actually use it. I do not, however, use the website, although I may consider it in the future. I have a couple of WP sites, so just never felt the need for their website. Their customer support is excellent, I can tell you that.

I am not familar with IXACT, but am familar with many CRMs.

Which is best for you depends on two things:

1. What resources your business needs

2. Where your business marketing is headed in the coming 2 years

(Top Producer, WiseAgent) or contemporary CRM (SugarCRM, SalesForce) depending on you personal analysis of your business.

I'm looking for a CRM that integrates with my website to capture leads, etc. That is one reason I'm looking at IXACT. They also offer 6 months free to any realtor who has been in the industry for less than a year.
