Many ways. If someone is managing property, then they are on top of all the necessaries. Also, values are maintained as well as pride of ownership etc.

Property management needs to suggest ongoing maintenance to the home. Neglect can harm value of the home.

Poor property management equals a loss of value

Vacant properties are worth less than occupied properties.

It can have no effect, a decrease or an increase in property value depending upon the particular situation.

Sometimes poor property management has an even greater effect on value.

If a rental property is difficult to show it might result in a longer DOM. If the tenants aren't taking care of the house or yard...the property value will be lower than what is expected in that neighborhood. 

It is a part of the appraisal evaluation, the economic model.

Many rentals properties are not kept in tip top shape and therefore can affect values in a neighborhood.

There will be a professional staying on top of the maintenance issues.

If they manage it poorly, there can be deffered maintenance or problems that develop with the house.  That can drop down the home's value and the value of homes around it.

If the management company is on their game than now problem with the value..if not it could make a difference and the property value could decline.

Property management can greatly affect property value for better or worse.  Keeping things clean neat and in working order  are some of the most important jobs for PMs.

if the management company is doing a less than desirable job, it does affect the property value!!!
