This is a mild vibrator, not a fan. As a fan it would be a flop as Cody Carmen noted.

People come up with interesting things, but it would have worked better if they screwed it into the joists instead of the floor boards, better air flow.

Looks like the one we saw in the time share we rented somewhere in Maine last summer.  Eighty degrees and no a/c.

the force might be enough to pull all of the powder post beetles from the old wood that it's attached to!!!

That's a new ceiling fan model. It was recently put out by Ronco. 

I saw a box fan like that haging on chains on a front porch yesterday. I thought it was quite ingenious or was it redneck?

If it acts like a duck...you have to applaud the problem solving they did.

NO WAIT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN - there is a little vent hole behind the fan. Look closely- see the silver flashing around the circle- looks like ducting vent?  I think this is fron the set of a horror movie. The movie is working title, "The HOT BOX" Thank you Leanne Carpenter
