   I went to a plant in south Georgia where they make these houses.  The houses are constructed inside of buildings the size of aircraft hangars.  Strict quality control. 

      That tour changed my mind about "manufactured houses".

I've talked to you a number of times about these types of properties when I have had questions - you are a terrific resource, my friend!

Perhaps you should form a new AR Group? Since we are just down the road from you; we would join.

We deal with quite a few manufactured homes in my area. This is interesting. I've written some posts on this topic.

It is a niche i got in and my largest community i sold was 149 manufactured homes. Now with the re-sales i am seeing these changes, now just to find loan officers that know the changes too John DL Arendsen

Since there are many Factory and Manufactured Homes built here in Elkhart County, Indiana, there are a lot of people buying them here, so most of the lenders and agents are familiar with the information buyers need to be aware of, when thinking about purchasing one.

We had a friend who was involved in the luxury end of the manufactured home, and he did very well and sold the company.  I have also heard that banks do not like to loan on them.  Yes, I would be interested in checking out a factory that builds them, just because I am interested!  A

There is little demand for these houses and to get into a listing often promise terrible loss in income.  

It could be useful.

It's alwasy a benefit to have additional information for all types of propertes. I would join even though I don't do alot of these, but I do refer them out

i get calls for financing on these from time to time.

i just direct them to a manufacturer to see if they can get a list of lenders
