I dont see anything wrong with having two homes and living that life. One by the ocean air and the other would be mountains/forrests/canyons type

a couple of luxury homes on the ocean....florida, california and rhode island....

I think a primary is sufficient. Sailboat for my second home would be my preference.

I'd own two luxury apartments... one in NYC (my original hometown) and one in Paris (my adopted hometown). Otherwise, I'd just stay in luxury hotels where ever I wanted to be.

One here on Kauai and one in southern France or Tuscany.

Well, with those money, i would probably not even count, and would have as many as I want ( even if I do not need them).

I would say not more than 3. Since I love being near water, somewhere close to it or viewing it. 

Some of the places that he owns are a little over the top for me but were great in 1900's wealth.  100 room house is a little much for me.

I would have to think about this, but I would certainly have a home in the mountains for winter and summer use, and maybe one that is in a primarily warm place for a quick winter get away. 

Just one ... large estate home with the Pacific Ocean as my backyard. 

I don't know.  Why not give me $10 billion and see what happens.

I'd have one in each of my favorite vacation spots.  I'd probably get a little place in Vegas, one in Dallas/Fort Worth, one in NYC, one in Norway and one in Ibiza.  Then I'd spend my time between all of them, probably living in Ibiza right now... for some reason...  maybe that's the club/trance music I have on talking right now.

Three - our present home, one in Italy and one on a small island somewhere.

One main one and lots of pied a terre's in strategic parts of the world e.g. beach areas, ski areas, major cities and so on.

Off the top of my head:

Nashville, NYC, Beach, Mountains. + one or two wildcards (maybe abroad?) that are more residence than investment. I'm thinking 5-6. 

I can answer this question right away, and don't even need to give it any thought - HA! - John Bear!  For me it would be two homes, a house on the mainland, where we currently live in AZ, and a second home (a condo) on the Islands, preferably Maui.  So, it would be 2 homes. 

I'd have a few...

1) spectacular condo in downtown Chicago

2) spectacular SFH in San Francisco

3) Some place fantastic in London, or Paris.

4) A nice apartment / house on the beach in the Hawaiian isles.

I'd own quite a few

I would purchase as many as I could for cash with no loan balances.

I would buy a house next door to Donald, then build a wall 30 feet high around my property so that the illegal landscapers can not go on my property and have Donald pay for it. OK seriously, I would buy a farm near Knoxville Tennessee, and maybe one other place, like Bend or Newport Oregon or somewhere in New England. But nothing over the top. I still want to be who I am now, and not show off

1) Golf Course home in LaQuinta, California
2) Lake home on Lake Chelan, Washington
3) Oceanfront home (I need to go shoppping)

I'd like one by the beach, by the lake, in the tropics, and my own home. I'm fine with having enough money to rent that many places a year.

I would love to have those decisions to make.

One here in NH and another somewhere warm, South Florida.....

7-Since that's my lucky number, but I can think of only three places:

1) Ocean front in Hawaii, likely on Oahu's North Shore.

2) Lakefront entertaining home built for sister's family, but a place for me to crash when there. Likely in Oakland County, Michigan. Have the rough drawings for this one.

3) In Southern California, NON waterfront. Would consider building on large lot in Rancho Sante Fe, A place in West Los Angeles or in Coastal Orange County.

All homes to be custom built new ones.

At one time did consider a new home overseas, but with the regulation and local corruption, I withdrew my interest. I would be only a renter of overseas property after some thought.
