A large company would create a marketing plan that would start with image (if needed, and Exxon was already mentioned after the huge spill). Few realtors need this, but it should be considered, for at least 30 seconds (lol).

The big companies would try to combine brand updating (if needed) and brand awareness along with planting this product or service as the go-to item for the audience, all in one ad or possibly a campaign of several.

Clarity and credibility of brand is key in today's society.  They can add the sizzle that call to action of the buyer, (seemingly) without effort.

You might check out the website of a Canadian marketing genius (get the podcasts, they are so simple, clear, informative and entertaining): UndertheInfluence, by Terry O'Reilly.  He's a master and a master teacher. Lol, everything I put in this comment, I learned from his half-hour radio broadcasts!
