No. I've never been asked for it, except at guard gates. Amazingly enough a business card works just fine.

Yes, and no one has ever asked me to see it. In VA, anyone can look up our license on the dpor website.

This is not common practice in Oregon. It is always available online with the Real Estate Agency website.
No I don't and I've never been asked
Panama City, FL
I have it in my wallet and have never had anyone ask to see it.
Long Beach, NY
We are no longer required to carry them. When we were, I was never asked.
Interesting Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington I have never been asked by anyone to see my license.
I always have the wallet size card in my wallet but no one has ever asked to see my license. A business card has always been sufficient, especially if it has my pic on it.
That is funny though I carry the wallet ID card I have never had anyone ask to see it.
Interesting, Never! But if someone would ask, I would grab my tablet and go to the state web site and show them first hand
Only to get into the monthly Houston Association of Realtors meeting.
I have never been ask. I don't carry a copy.
No. Business card suffices to get into gated communities.
I have pocket cards for both California and Hawaii. Only in Hawaii do I need to show it--for example, at their membership meetings to get in the door and the vendors ask for them. They run it through a computer that gives them all the information about my brokerage and I end up getting on people's email lists. It's like a credit card with a chip, that doubles for entry with a Sentri lockbox. The California one is just stiff paper; normally don't show that, just a business card will do.
Yes I carry it, no one ever asks.
No, I don't. And, have never been asked.
Never - it's not a requiement here. Nobody has ever asked me either in 28 years. It is intersting to learn that many states do require it and that it's a standard practice. I didn't know this! With that said I do check all agents out that submit offers to make sure they are licensed.
Always, it is required in Oklahoma.
It is a requirement in my jurisdiction.
I don't and we have cute credit card like ID's. When we were helping our clients with an open house, I asked if we needed our licenses, and they said no. We have a different level of trust. A
Yes, but I am amazed how many agents do not.
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington We carry little wallet sized cards. I have never been asked to see it.
It is the law here so always.
We carry pocket cards, its required by statute
I do, but I have never been asked to show it.
We have NEVER been asked by anyone to see it, except once when we went to a gated community and the guard asked for it!
Yes I carry it with me as we have to but I've never gotten asked to present it.
No. Was never asked to show my license.
Nope. I never been asked. I guess I been fortunate?
yes, I have for the past 38 years....
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington I've gotten asked at gated communities from time to time, yes.
I don't carry mine with me, and I've never been asked to show it.
We are required to carry it here in Illinois. I have only been asked for it in a few gated communities for entrance.
By law in our state, we are required to. I have it in a flip top leather pouch where I also keep my Sentricard, business cards and car key. It's like a mini wallet.
No except when I'm showing in a few gated communities and the guard asks me for it to go in and show homes.
I've never had anyone ask to see mine however it's the wallet sized one that's within easy reach.
I don't but have heard that agents in other areas have been asked for their real estate license along with a business card especially in guard-gated communities. So far, I've never been asked for it at a listing presentation. The information of all California real estate licenses are available online.
Never been asked at listing presentations, but I do carry the wallet version at all times.
No, we are not required to carry it.
I have been licensed since the early 70's and never have been asked to show my license, so after several years quit the practice of carrying it!
Nope, I've never been asked for it exccept by my brokers
Usually no and never have i had a seller ask for it. Only banks who want a copy when listing REO and one time taking pictures of a home the police showed up asking what i was doing.
Yes - I can access it on my iPhone
Must be something in the water in Tacoma Washington.
Don't carry it.
Never been asked for it.
Even my broker verified via the state website, not my printed license.
My pocket cards are in my wallet for both NC and SC all the time. But I have NEVER in almost 25 years been asked to present my card except for continuing ed classes.
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, Broker, Tacoma Washington - I do not! Though I do have it on my Google Drive.
I always have a small copy in my wallet.
Never heard of such a thing, must be something in the media where you are at telling people to check for licenses.
I usually have it with me. I've NEVER been asked to see it.
No harm. So many scammers.....
