This is what our government does. They do things wrong in such a way as to make how wrong it is confusing, and while it's all being sorted out they keep doing it wrong. F them. LOL

I'm still confused about the ruling too.  I was hoping the entire thing was shot down, but I doubt we'd ever get that lucky.

It did not rule the CFPB unconstitutional.  There are many regulatory agencies in the federal government.  My recollection is that they didn't feel the DFPB had the supervision that most of these agencies are supposed to have from the Executive Branch.  

I think the law should be called back myself. Follow the money

It will be interesting to unravel the interpretation Fred Griffin even more interesting would be to unravel the CFPB.  Another act that should be repealed.

I don't see this changing anytime soon regardless of the ruling. They have lots of money and can challenge it on higher levels.

I am not a lawyer.  This seems like an excellent question for a constitutional lawyer in your country.  Perhaps your current president could answer this question since constitutional law was a specialty of his prior to becoming president.

I have been out of the lop for a few days and have not been able to look this over closer.

The CFPB needs to be changed. There is no one to oversee the CFPB, and it has too much power. Didn't one lending organization just win a major lawsuit involving the CFPB? The CFPB thought it was all powerful and kept raising the fine against this lender, and the group has gotten a kick in the pants over that. 

I read where the court was concluded there was some overreach by the agency involved. 

The way I read it was the structure was unconstitutional but unfortunately, we will still be saddled with the CFBP. 

How can it 'structurally' not be constitutional? That's my question - you have an unconstitutional corporation? business entity?

Just got an email update from the CFPB this morning so still in operation.

I would read it as the "structure"!

Remember it is not how to streamline government but how to make it bigger!
