Mortgage rates are up today. December rate hike will happen. Then give it some time next year.

Rates have been inching up for months.  Only time will tell what the future holds.

I put away my crystal ball last time we moved.  As we were clearing one of the storage room, I saw it sitting among other items in bubble wrap.  She did not want to shed the wrap  and come out of the box...She had nothing to say.  I left her in the box.  LOL A

I am not a predictor of interest rate changes. I think we will may see some movement down in the next few days though.

I'd bet at 1-2 meetings and only a moderate increase.

My husband predicts interest rates coming up very soon.  We shall see.

they've already prewarned that dec. would be the month....

Based on the direction that the bond market is moving, I would say they are going up now and will continue as the economy improves. The big question is how high, nobody can answer that, but I'm guessing that 5% for a  30 year fixed is not out of the question next year. I hope I'm wrong, and it stays below that.

I have no clue.

Based on the positive jobs reports achieved by current administration, we may have an increase in December.

Soon. Smart consumers have already taken advantage of the low rates.

It depends on many factors and which interest rate you are referring to.

If I knew that I would be retired, but the eonomy is not going to going to be fixed overnight I think things will settle down.

The last I read, Yellen was going to raise in December. It is coming folks and it has nothing to do with our new Commander in Chief.
