No.  Seems like you'd run the risk of damaging the walls.  Plus, drones really are just plain stupid (IMHO) for interior shots.  Where they excel is the shot of the large lot and expansive land.  Not close in residential and not indoors.  I saw one knucklehead who used a drone on a house and got a wonder shot of the busy main street directly behind the house.  Way to highlight the negatives!

The newer UAVs have cameras and sensors to avoid objects - However the UAV might not pick up a small object or wire easily.  I have seen some dramatic videos indoors flying over tables and out french doors and patio terraces over cliffs.  Absolutely stunning.  My UAV can do this but I have not had a chance to use it yet.  Any large interior room might give you 5 to 10 seconds of dramatic video.  I have it ready as a tool in my toolbox. It can make a difference in getting a listing or not.

I sold a new house last year and the listing agent used a drone to take interior photos. Every ceiling fan in the house had to be replaced where the drone damaged them. I wonder what the drone looked like when it was done. I don't use a drone at this time.

No - the best interior shots are from a lower angle.  If there is a high ceiling and I want to capture the room below for a dramatic photo, I stand on the cat walk or stairs and shoot it!

I would be more worried about the liability if I ran it into a breakable or damaged the walls, flooring (if the drone crashed) or furniture.

I put the phone in video mode, then give it a high toss.

Selfie sticks have proven more than adequate for interiors, but I have not been asked to help sell any million dollar + properties that may have a multi-story atrium.
