With my son off at college and my bride flying for Virgin most of the Christmas season (lower seniority); we don't decorate a tree these days; but I still buy a live wreath for the fragrance.

I did not know that.  I know that sap is very sappy ... sticky 

A burst of aroma might be well worth the sticky sap.

As long as a sharp stick is used and not any on the fingers; otherwise Glade will be used.

But boy those bubbles get on your hands it just doesn't come off! I remember that from climbing trees. It's like evergreen rubber.

Love the smell of fresh cut evergreens and different ones have different smells as well as strengths.

Did not know that, but as I'm allergice to them, I won't be having them in my house anytime soon.

I love the smell of a fresh Christmas tree though I haven't had one in years. I wasn't sure which part the pleasant fragrance comes from.

I did know about this, Richie. I love the smell of pine. I have a pine scented candle I'm buring right now. It's a good one, and smells like the real deal. 

Yes, I have heard of these devices, great for protecting the trees from all sorts of pests.

There is nothing like the aroma from a fresh tree!
