Hella Mitschke Rothwell, I have received the American Institute of Real Estate Professionals Top 10 Best Real Estate Agents in NC for Customer Service, the Top 100 in NC award and the 5-Star Customer Satisfaction award for Charlotte for the 10th year but, I don't buy into the commercialism, which is all those are about.  Originally I thought they were all legit but, then I realized they were just using agents to make money!

I do, however, promote reviews received though - they are legitimate 3rd party publications and nominations for legitimate awards.

Yes..I'm nominated for the PT50 in Austin (Top 50 agents) and I always add the logo as this is the 5th year in a row. I need to do a blog in AR..forgot to so far!

Yes, I have been a local and state REALTOR® of the Year, and it is on certain resumes but not on cards and I don't believe it is that relevant to the public in all situations.

I've been awarded several times for top team in my KW area  unfortunately, we are only able to accept ther reward if we go to the convention which I don't go to LOL

Top agent of the month. In our brokerage it shows on the internal site. One can not get a McCofee with it. We don't print certifications anymore as top agents do not even come to the office anymore.

As long as the award aligns with my business goals AND what the citizen will embrace as meaningful.

"Success Theater," those activities engage by real estate people to pump up their presence, should be avoided. Much like those letters agents buy to append to their name. (they are not meaningful to the public)

In your example the 'allowed to use' words obscure what has been accomplished, so you need to add or replace the verbiage to read as something meaningful to your audience, otherwise it IS "Success Theater."

I have my 5-Star awards, and President's Award and Realtor of the Year awardsfrom CRS on my profile and in email, but not in any advertising.

I have been the Winner of San Diego Magazine's FIVE STAR REAL ESTATE AGENT AWARD for 5 years in a row. I use it on my email signature, profile, business cards....

I have not as of late

I might wait until the actual award, but being nominated is also an honor, so why not advertise it, if you're comfortable with it.

Congratulations!  I'm a twice nominated Volunteer of the Year for Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, that is on my advertising.  I just got presented last night with the station's Service Award, so that will go on my blog and site soon.

Like the saying goes "If you got it, flaunt it!"

I would use it, I got a Master Club award from our local board and I use that information.
