I just completed my required CE courses online.  Complete waste of time and I wish I could just send them the money and not have to pretend to have learned something in the ridiculous courses available.  To me it is nothing but a money grab!

I've only taken in-class 

Once in a while I'll do an on-line course  but I prefer the interaction in a classroom setting and obtain much more out of the class. We have classroom settings come to us so they are so convenient..hard not to make time for them.

Dennis Swartz In-class allows interaction among the students. Makes it more interesting. I hope everyone who thinks CE is a waste of time will at least pay attention to the legal updates. I've taught CE for several years and always find it hard to believe that a lot of agents are not familiar with State regulations that can affect their license status.

Online ... I can complete the courses anytime. 

Yes, I do wish there was more meaningful content in CE coursework.

I go to class, no on-line for me. I don't find the CE classes I attend to be a waste... I always learn important new things at the ones I attend.

I tend to learn more in a classroom, but I will be doing a lot of my CE online.

I absolutely prefer in-class CE.  This provides an opportunity to ask questions and get clarity. And CE can be interesting if the topic pertains to issues you are dealing with.

Online. Classroom interaction is nice and can be more interesting but I never seem to have the time. Online can be completed early in the morning and late at night.

I wish it was all taught by the state's RE attorneys involved in recent cases.

If in-class courses started on time, didn't have a bazillion breaks, and didn't go off on tangents, I'd prefer to do it in-class. However, with the way in-person classes seem to go, I prefer to get my information online.

The only issue with on-line is sometimes there are technical glitches and sometimes the information is out of date/incorrect. I usually report those issues.

I like both, nice to stay in my recliner and learn, and nice to visit with the other attendees.

It would be nice if we could combine both of these positives.

I do mine 100% online, so I can do them whenever it is convenient for me.  Also, there always seems to be someone(s) in those in-class CE classes that is love with the sound of their own voice, so that the conversation get hijacked.

As someone said, this is a loaded question. The answers speak for themselves. 

I am a in class type of person to meet others in the class.

I personally prefer in person, but that means I can't procrastinate.  My license renewed last month, and this month I have already started filling in the requirements for my next round of CE.

On line is fine, but I really prefer a classroom setting. This way people can share experiences and sometimes that can be the best learning of the class. 

In class.  I am a CE instructor and we have some great choices for agents.

I prefer online and I wish some of the classes were more relevant.

I prefer in class, I get distracted too easily with online instruction. I wish we had better offerings as well.

On line without a doubt.

I prefer taking the classes in person mainly for the networking opportunities it presents. In October I took a CRS class and sat next to someone who gave me a referral. I was able to get it closed in November and the class was a win/win all the way around!  :)

I do like to attend classes due to the interaction, but sometimes time is crucial and need to take on-line.

I prefer in-class if I have the time. Online is okay in a pinch but I lose the interaction.

Online is the best.  CE tends to be a waste of time in most industries.  I used to enjoy it in the IT world though because the webinars I atteneded were all about the latest cyber attacks (how they happened, lessons learned and new vulnerabilities).  That was just some serious fun stuff to fill 40 hours a year!

I've seen the RE CEs and yeah, not impressed.

I usually do online to save time and money.

I'm taking right now 12 hours( free by CAR) CE classes online. 

I do half and half - I do the electives online and the BIC updates in person and enjoy them both for different reasons!

     Our Board offers some good CE classes; I take one now and then.  But I always do the 14 hour online course, just to be sure I get the required number of hours.
